Cam Energy

Hot water heater went out on Saturday morning. I called and they said they would come out later in the day. I checked in by text and called several times after 2pm and never heard back, not even to say they couldn't make it anymore.

Called again on Monday, they confirmed I was on the schedule for Tuesday morning. They never showed up on Tuesday either. I called again on Tuesday and was told to expect a call back within five minutes. Again never heard back.

If they had no interest in my business, I would have really preferred not wasting my time trying to get them come out - I get that it's busy, but just tell me if you can't make it rather than provide time windows for service calls you have no intention of making.

If you need reliability (or simply anyone showing up), I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

They charge 300 dollars just to look at the problem. Don’t go with them. Einstein plumbing nearby only charges 89 for a consultation and they’re much friendlier.

0 stars!! DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!!! Cam Energy is a unprofessional, criminally operated heating and air conditioning company. They will overcharge you for parts and labor. This company even tries to extort clients to pay invoices by placing Liens on their properties under the illegal process. Which is illegal in the state of new York without contracts or court judgement. When they show up to the court to argue about the wrongfully charged case, they will send someone who's old, weak and with no memory, without comprehension in the court to draw judges mercy. Strongly recommend anyone looking for service or repair to Stay away from this company!! And Take your business needs elsewhere by all costs!!!

My gas shut off and I needed service over the weekend on off hours. They answered promptly and professionally and had me up and running in 2.5 hours from the initial call, on the weekend during the evening. Even beat all competitor prices. Stand up company. 5 stars, I highly recommend.

Upstairs neighbor used Cam Energy to clear their clogged kithcen sink, which apparently was successful for them. However, later that day our kitchen sink clogged where we had NO PROBLEM prior. They pushed our neighbor's clog into our pipes, didn't bother to make sure the clog was fully cleared. I called their office the following day and after being told it would cost $250 to send a technician I replied their technician created the problem and would not pay anything to them. I was told the "boss is at a meeting". I asked for a call back and left my number. Guess what???? No call back. So what's the play here? Charge 1 customer to clear a clogged drain, push the clog to the next apartment then charge them to clear the same clog? Thanks for nothing....
If you live in an apartment building and have a clogged drain follow this advice from licensed plumber Robert Sessa:

If you’re located on any floor other than the first floor, you will have to either have a superintendent on site or access to the unit below yours so that I may make sure the stoppage I cleared in your apartment hasn’t moved to the floor or floors below your apartment.

Cam Energy is not as conscientious

Reffered by a friend...called late at night, came within a couple of hours. Tech was super helpful, fixed my issue and even spent the time to show me how to remedy it for the next time. Very pleased and not to mention reasonably priced.

Went back and forth with my previous gas company for two weeks. Called cam energy and the sent someone out that day and got my apt warm. Would definitely recommend

Mechanics were very knowledgeable and quick. Prices were honest and most importantly they left the work area as clean as it was before they entered

great down to earth honest company , had an emergency 2am sunday night had service and up and running 2 hrs later.

CAM ENERGEY IS A REAL HONEST COMPANY THAT YOU CAN TRUST I HAD ANOTHER COMPANY COME LOOK AT MY BOILER THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD HAVE BEEN OVER $2,000 DOLLARS CAM ENERGY DID THE JOB FOR A SERVICE FEE IT WAS JUST A LOOSE WIRE THANK YOU AGAIN
