Great company. Opened 24/7. I buy propane to heat my home. I've been a customer over 10 years with never a problem. Right now I'm selling my home and a lady named Nancy from the office has been helping me get a closing statement to put a value on fuel in my tank so I can get credit $$$ for it at closing.
Great customer service, quick response times, and excellent on-site service. I had a heating issue and Will was there quickly and had everything running smoothly very quickly.
I have been a long time Main-Care customer and they have yet to let me down whether it is fuel, propane delivery or service. If I have a problem the technician arrives promptly to fix the problem even during off-hours. Appointments for non-critical services are always kept or notification given if their is a change. I would highly recommend Main-Care for all your fuel/service needs.
Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. Jake, the service rep who was dispatched to the house, was terrific! I did deduct one star for the very frustrating phone maze.

They even sent me a sympathy card when my father passed. That type of compassion is what I look for in a company, and Main Care has it.
The customer service representatives at this company tell you a different story each time you call. The company has backwards policies that do not include preventative measures. I’ve been trying to get them to remove their propane tank from my property for weeks now and they don’t seem to care that it’s a hazard to me and my new house. No sense of urgency.
I got home today to find my propane tank missing. Called Main Care and was told they thought it was abandoned. No email, phone call or mail was sent to me to verify this before they took it away. Supervisor told me there was nothing they could do and accused me of buying propane elsewhere.... I informed them that I paid them for the propane still in the tank and that I wanted a refund. I was told they don't know when I would get a refund for the unused propane.
Unbelievable. Do not do business with these people.. They are crooks. No other way to put it.
Firstly, I have no affiliation with any other company nor interests beyond being a new home owner informing others about my horrid experience with this company- so you dont get scammed. THEY ARE AWFUL! They have greedy, rude, and downright criminal customer service representatives. Same one star rating today as rated recently by others. Predatory behavior with 'automatic delivery' contracts. As a first time oil heat user in a new home they didn't explain what I was agreeing to. Pulled the 'ol bait and switch. Hit us with mystery charges and $125 "delivery charges". All about getting their money after the fact- not about service up front or addressing customer's needs. Others described as exactly correct- one big bloated company where workers have no clear picture as to what policy is, no idea of company rules and practices, and policy and practices change on a frequent basis, and the customer is treated as a commodity and cash cow rather than a human being. I am now with a small 'will call' oil company that is so far meeting my expectations nicely. Stay far away from Main Care! Seriously, you have been warned!
Easy to contact by phone. Courteous and professional. Needed a valve on my oil tank as the one that was on it was no longer working. Repair was done well and in a timely manner. Cost was reasonable. I recommend MainCare
