Main Care price gauges for a service that not every client wants. Their prices for oil are .80 cents to $1 more than all other oil companies in the area. Emily picked up in the office and she was extremely unprofessional and hung up in our face, what a disgrace for the an employee to represent the company this way. I will never recommend this company. Their policy is terrible and their customer service is unacceptable.

I recently had a technician visit to service our central air. It was my pleasure to have Will Clark as my technician. He was very thorough checking it all out and explained everything to me in great detail. My experience with Main-Care altogether has always been superior to other companies I have worked with. They answer calls promptly. They provide exceptional customer service overall. I highly recommend this company.
Wonderful service and very kind man(Tom L),he also explained everything that needed to be done.The elderly woman I take care of had her furnace cleaned for routine cleaning. Tom noticed a large hole/leak in the exit pipe, he fixed that without hesitation. Also he replaced her collar on it as well. 100/10 customer service would recomend anytime!
Called them in as our hot steam heating system was leaking water all over and had stopped working. They were here quickly. Will Clark worked and explained the situation and got it going!
Used them for all needs for almost 30 years. Never let me down, but sometimes requires persistence. Good news: offers every service imaginable, including weekend emergency repair, repair contracts and prepay plans. Overall, very reliable. Honest company, but can make mistakes. Some of the more experienced technicians are world class. Bad news: phone reps are occasionally short with customers, but at least they are not in the Far East. Some technicians are new and can be. inexperienced. 'Call back' feature when busy would be useful. Can be hard to get to speak to higher ups. Conclusion: still the best around.
We have had the consistent warmth and confidence of a service contract with Main Care for over 25 years, ever since we bought our 1885 house. Most recently, we called them when we found warm water dripping from an overpressure pipe onto the concrete floor of our furnace room, as it was designed to do in this situation. Since we still had heat and other customers did not, it took a couple of hours for Will C. to get to us. He tapped on the expansion tank and found that it was fine (unlike the YouTube pro who would have had us replace it). He replaced the pressure relief valve in half an hour and all has been well since. The best parts were that he had the part and tools on his truck and we just received the invoice which was nothing but zeros in the cost column.
Jim H came from the Greenwich NY office to clean a very old boiler/burner and make sure it was safe - he was courteous, knowledgeable and took time to explain to me the things he was doing to ensure that it was safe and as efficient as it could be. Great professional!! I would highly recommend him to anyone needing service!
