    First Class !! Had a heating problem and called at the recommendation of a W.B. Steward customer. Patty was polite and helpful. Jeff arrived and worked his magic. In no time I had heat. Company is responsive, professional and reasonably priced. I will certainly have them doing my spring AC prep.

    We used WB for our new AC, heater, and hot water heater. We had several companies come out for quotes and they were the best. Don was the only quoter to run tests, measure, check vent and windows, talk about insulation and so much more. Other companies didn't give quotes for a week, Don was back the next day with a full typed proposal. They walked us through every step and helped in any way they could. I felt so comfortable and confident in choosing them for our job. I recommend anyone looking for work to not choose the cheapest bid, but who you like the best, who you have the most confidence in, and who you believe will do the best. You can always find someone cheaper, but you can't buy the quality of customer service, convenience, and professionalism that you will receive by hiring WB Steward!!

    Would definitely recommend them to everyone!!! Our oil tank gauge was broken so we never knew how much oil we would have left in our tank and would run out sometimes. Don came out one day to refill our oil and I mentioned to him our issue to which he was very concerned about. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and told me he would come back out and install an oil reader that connects to your wifi and shows you your oil levels through an app. It's actually really cool and useful if your oil tank doesn't read correctly or if it just doesn't read at all. Overall, Don was very polite and helpful and whether you're having issues or just need some services done I would suggest you go to them!

    W.B. Steward and Son knocked it out of the park with my oil to gas conversion. Right from the start while in the bidding stages of this project
    I knew Don Steward and his team were going to be the ones I went with.
    The honesty and integrity that Don puts forth upon meeting him put your mind at ease. His staff are the most courteous and respectful bunch of men I have ever dealt with. I can not possibly say enough good about these men.
    Only that they were the best from start to finish. Kudos guys job well done.

    I recently replaced an older heating system with an air conditioning/heating system with W.B. Steward and Son. The existing heating system was loud and did not heat the whole house properly. Don clearly explained why the old system was not working and put together a detailed solution that would give me both efficient heating and air conditioning. The installation crew was professional and very neat. Don came back at the end to ensure that the system was running at optimum performance. Overall, I was very impressed with their attention to detail. They are truly concerned with my satisfaction of the work that they performed.

    The entire experience from estimating through installation was fantastic. The installers explained everything, took their time and left the work area cleaner th then they found it. We have used the company for years HVAC maintenance and have never been disappointed. A top company.

    I’m writing this review for W.B. Steward and Son. A couple of weeks ago our central air conditioning unit stopped working. So naturally we called a repairman based on reviews. The repairman advised that the unit needed to be replaced (it’s 16 years old) or it would cost a few thousand dollars to repair it. This of course was right in the middle of a heatwave in July. So, we decided to replace it along with the furnace as the AC sat right on top of the furnace. Our hope was to get a more efficient model. We ended up calling several HVAC specialists to get quotes. All provided great presentations and comparable quotes. However, we ultimately decided on W.B. Steward and Son for the job. There were several factors that played into this decision. These include, W.B. Steward and Son were a local business which I wanted to support. They explained in detail what the job would entail. They offered a longer warranty. They did not require me to pay a monthly fee right away for a yearly check-up, although the first 2 check-ups would be free and I can decide later if I wanted to pay for a monthly maintenance service. They asked very detailed questions about air loss and possible causes to help gauge the specific issues that my house was having. They provided links to details about the different systems I could choose from right within the proposal. I was able to click on these links and read about the systems they offered as well as doing google reviews for comparison. They even advised of the 0% interest financing with South Jersey Gas. However, the ultimate difference that help seal the deal was that they offered at no charge, an in-window air conditioner for us to use while the work was being done during the heatwave.

    Once work started, they asked my permission to complete the furnace on a different day and they were able to get our air conditioning up and running on the same day which was a Friday.
    Employees Mike, Dan, and Ryan came back on Monday to replace the heating unit. Mike explained what needed to be done from start to finish. He also showed me a failsafe if the condensate pump should ever fail. He tagged everything and showed me where I can find more specifics in the instruction booklet that was attached to the system.

    Finally, Don sealed some floor registers where the builder left wide gaps. He then went in the attic, found where the upstairs return register ran in the attic and sealed around the drywall and joists in the attic. He even explained how the black soot on the fiberglass insulation was an indicator of air loss. He then did a paper test in which he put a sheet of paper to the register to see if it sticks. To my delight the wall register in the master bedroom passed the paper test as well as all the other wall registers. They then tested the new furnace which passed all required measurements. Don then ran the air conditioner and did a test with a device to measure air flow for each room and basement and advised it passed.

    The last thing that Don explained and with pictures of past jobs, is a common cause of carbon monoxide poisoning from HVAC systems and hot water heaters. He even explained that most carbon monoxide detectors on the market have a higher threshold for levels of detection that may not be good for small children or seniors and that there are other models available for purchase with a lower threshold for those who’d like more protection. I took him up on this offer for my parents who are senior citizens.

    All in all, thus far, I am extremely satisfied with the level of detail, professionalism and thorough work that Don and all of his employees have provided my family with a new and more efficient HVAC system. I would highly recommend this local company for any HVAC needs as their level of knowledge and willingness to answer and explain in detail (even with pictures) every single question I had, was outstanding.

    The Best, Hands Down!

    Not only do their products and installs exceed expectations, but their customer service afterwards is outstanding! I came home today to find my Evolution thermostat not functioning. I took it off the wall and brought it into the office. Not only was I greeted by name (!) but I was promptly given a short instruction on how to troubleshoot, and a replacement thermostat right on site, no questions asked, in case I couldn’t fix mine! Hats’ off to Don Jr!!

    We woke up to a warm house and Mike was here by 8:00 am! He quickly determined the problem with our air conditioning unit and had the replacement part on his truck. Our house is cooling off already - just 2 hours since we made the phone call! I highly recommend WB Steward and Sons!

    I have been using the excellent service of W.B. Steward & Son, Inc. for four years now and I am a very happy customer. Don's staff are professional and experienced and personable. My first experience with W. B Steward was a winter Sunday morning at 3:30 AM where my home registered 57 degrees. The cold woke me up. My heater shut down. I called the company I was contracted with at the time and they told me they would call back at 10:00 AM from Ohio. No way, could I wait so I looked through the Greater Woodbury Chamber of Commerce Directory and I called W.B. Steward. They were there in less than an hour and got my system up and running. I was so thankful and so impressed that they would come out so promptly and I was not a customer. Don's staff even came back later that morning to follow up.
    That's what I call SERVICE! I highly recommend W.B. Steward & Son!
