I bought a brand new electric hot water heater for my home. I currently use a propane hot water heater, which is connected to my chimney. We have no heat in the basement, but have a woodstove in there that I want to connect to the chimney. In order to do that, I need to disconnect the propane and connect an electric. I called Sanford on Monday who said they would send someone out for a quote for Wednesday. The person who answered the call said they could connect it for me, but they couldn't guarantee the work, which was fine by me. They called today to confirm the appointment for 4-6. Then they called after 1 and said that they weren't coming, that the owner of the company didn't feel comfortable connecting a water heater that a home owner purchased.
My kids are cold in the basement with no heat down there. I've been waiting for them to come, because of the reviews and advertisements I've seen on them. I thought it would be worth the wait. And now to get a call same day to say they aren't coming, very poor customer service and not a good way to run a business. Sanford cancelling says to me that they are too busy, and won't make enough money off this job, rather than the not feeling comfortable installing a brand new unit. I won't be calling them ever again.

Kyle, Rick, and Jared showed up practically on the scheduled dot, and they were all super friendly and professional. They had the old AC removed and replaced in just a few hours, and took the time to get me up to speed on the new system and control panel before they left. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The two men that showed up to repair our A/C unit were polite, and left the area clean when done. They were very efficient getting the job done in under an hour and showed up on time. We will definitely be using this company again to service our A/C unit and HVAC system.

We have an addition that we added brand new duct work to a year ago. Our dogs found a way under the addition and wrecked it all. Not only did Sanford come and give us the estimate, they were able to come out quickly to repair everything. We have fixed the entries and pray they don't find another way! Thank you!

Easy to communicate with, no surprise costs, and excellent quality of work. I needed my ductwork cleaned, they had someone come out for free to quote it. I agreed to the quote. They sent out two technicians and did the job with no surprise costs, fuss, or miscommunications.

Very pleased with the work that Kyle and Ian did for us last week in installing the central A/C! They were friendly, on time, everything ran as scheduled, and at the end they gave a thorough walk through to explain the system workings. When we had a couple questions this week, Alex came down to help us out almost immediately - the customer service Sanford provides is absolutely top notch!! Great experience all around with everyone from Sanford, and we will continue to use them for all of our heating and cooling needs!

I have worked with this company for many years and they are always responsive and helpful. I recently purchased a new condo and called Sanford. Zach L. was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions about my new furnace and air units while checking them to make sure everything was working properly. He kindly looked at the venting throughout the home and made suggestions on improvements that could be made. This company has been great to work with from the people answering the phone and booking appointment to the technicians that come to the house. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Jason was professional from start to finish. He clearly stated the scope of the work and provided answers to my questions. He arrived on time and there was minimal disruption to my day - and I work from home. We will definitely use Sanford again in the future and hope to have Jason do the work.
