Brett was great! His level of professionalism was impressive. His ability to explain everything coupled with his great people skills and his high regard for doing a good job was refreshing! He is definitley an asset to your company!

Brett is an outstanding representative of Sanford Temperature Control. He arrived on-time to give us an estimate for the cleaning of our home duct system. He explained the process very clearly and thoroughly and answered all of our questions as well. He gave us a very competitive estimate for the job and we did choose Sanford. Brett is a consummate professional and we thank him for his work.

Kyle did a great job. The new unit is small and fits on the wall. He had two very good work mates that he was directing, Jared and Rick. They worked well together. Kept things neat. Cover cloth on ground. They were in and out in five hours with lunch. Sanford is highly recommended as an installer and maintainer. I'm happy they come to Washington.

I couldn't be more disappointed in our experience with this company. I had a simple issue where my Nest thermostats ran fine, however two were unable to keep a charge due to the lack of a common wire hooked up. This is a common issue with Nest thermostats, however outside of my skillset- so sought what I expected to be a professional. I was told up front there was a fee of $120 for the consultation, and that they didn't know what time, but that they would be calling 30 mins - 1 hour ahead so I could leave work and be there in time. I received an email + text same day reiterating the same- that I would be notified prior. Two technicians showed up at my home, unannounced without a call prior. My wife was there, thankfully, but confused as we did not receive a call. When asked, the technician stated "Oh, I don't know that they even called" Two people arrived, one an apprentice that was primarily on his cell phone the entire time. Derek stated it was just following the wires, and was able to hook up the common wires fairly quick for the 2 thermostats in question. However, in the process he undid the wiring for a different thermostat (that was working fine + charging itself- we never asked for service on this) and then proceeded to spend an additional 90 minutes, give or take, in our attic adding wiring to fix his mistake. My wife was never given an Estimate for the work prior, instead was told that she needed to sign a tablet for the charges ($797) for 2.5 hours of work & labeled as a "complicated electrical wiring problem" - the only thing complicated was Derek's error in messing with the wrong thermostat, and then undoing his mistake. Then, my wife asked if she could cut a check the following day and she was told no, she had to pay now. Then he left a business card with his name, Derek Emmons, suggesting a review. Finding the entire experience to be sleezy, we googled + come to find out Mr Emmons is a two time felon, with with 2 felonies of aggrivated sexual assault on a victim under the age of 13 years old. Prior to finding out this information, the manager had said it is policy to notify a customer of charges prior to performing the work. He said he would speak with the technician and then call back. It has been 4 days, with no return call. I know this once family owned business recently sold to a bigger corporation, but that does not mean honesty, ethics, professionalism + customer service should be neglected. To have zero communication, followed by a surprise house calls- let alone, by a registered sex offender- is just completely unacceptable. Then to price gauge at nearly $400/hr for a mistake made by the technician. Do yourself a favor, research + find a more reputable company that cares about their customers, whether it be safety or communication protocols.

Service, timing and price were great. Called one time and had an appointment scheduled very quickly. Ricky B did a great job walking me through the problem, helping me understand the issue and creating a plan and expectation moving forward. Highly recommend Sanford for your plumbing and A/C needs

Our new system truly looks like a work of art. The whole process from getting an estimate to the final install was the best experience I have had from any service provider in my life! Everyone in the company takes great pride in their work and they understand customer service. A+++

Hello! I’m not usually one for leaving online reviews but the experience my husband and I had using Sandford Plumbing and Heating and particularly in working with Jason Care has been so great I felt I needed to leave this review.

Jason was kind, courteous and professional. So much so we’ll be keeping his card on file and will certainly be calling Sanford again for any needs we have regarding heating and plumbing in our home.

Thank you,
J. Mosley
