Shout out to Bennett who seemed to be lead on my mini split installation.

I was very very impressed with his work ethic and commitment to get the job done. He cleaned up after himself and left the areas he worked in tidy.

So far my system has been running well and keeping my house cool.

One negative I want to mention

Be aware of what is actually required per local code and ask a 3rd party if not sure.

Sales may build a generic install including components you may not need. Obviously this makes the company money.

Im going to believe it was an oversight and not predatory, but I was quoted for a component that did not get installed because it wasn’t required per code.

If you get quoted for a component and it’s not installed speak up and say something.

Besides that A+ will use in future!

Found Proactive through HomeAdvisor. Immediate and professional follow-up to set an appt (at no charge). On day of appt. they called ahead letting me know exact timing and who (James) would be coming. James was professional and experienced. He scoped out our little project. Fixed it very easily. Very reasonable price. James finished the work in under and hour and it was done perfectly. Proactive Comfort is our plumbing service.

Chris M. and Eric A. replaced the 84-year-old black cast iron waste water pipe that ran the length of the house with modern pipe and fittings. They showed up on time, did a thorough meticulous job and finished in one long day. The worksite was left clean and ready for immediate use. We couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you.

All right I purchased a boiler and AC unit, boiler installation was amazing no problems. The AC unit was a joke, I called the Company three times to come back to the house and fix the cold air, and hot air. They had to stop the machine from running for three days because Their poor installation and poor ventilation connection. And during this Saturday was hot the AC was on temperature set up 70° ( it was 86) and now I looked at my ceiling and its leaking. I called the company regarding the damage on my ceiling and they thought they were doing me a favor to send somebody to my house to look at to the AC unit. As if i didn't have to take days off my job and have my husband do it as well to simply have them clean up their mistake. 4 TIMES! I do not recommend anything, but customer service wasn't terrible. I also had many friends and acquaintances tell me they were too expensive for the sloppy work. Should've listened.

This company should be a case study in how to do customer service the right way. There was an incident that happened and due to a recent change in their after hours call handling, we couldn’t reach anyone. However, when their in-house staff found out (which was also after hours), Emily went above and beyond to fix the issue, immediately sent one of the nicest and most professional techs to the house (shoutout Eddie!) and then followed up afterwards with more gestures of apology to make the situation right. Offering 5-star service is impressive but taking a customer from a 1-star experience and turning them into your #1 fan is practically a magic trick and these folks bring that magic. I will be highly recommending them to friends and will also be relaying this story in business circles of what customer service done right looks like. Fan for life!

Wow! What a delight doing business with Proactive Comfort. It was easy to schedule and very reasonably priced. Eric was our plumber. He was professional, efficient, neat and gave us good advice. He removed an ancient water filter, replaced the bathtub drain stopper (overflow trip lever) and the corroded faucet. We’ll also consider the mini split maintenance program. Excellent company for heating and plumbing.

Eric wore a face mask, which we appreciated because we have medically vulnerable family members.

It cost $89 to get an estimate. While the technician was professional and polite, the estimate came back from an original estimate of $1800 to over 800. Now this was to simply hook up a faucet, and put in a garbage disposal and a discharge pipe. I was quoted $310 an hour. That is price gouging.
I hooked up the waterlines myself and went to another company to do the dran/discharge pipes. Quoted hourly rate was 55% of their rate.
