    Advanced Home Services was dispatched through my home warranty company when my hot water heater started leaking. The company was able to quickly get us an appt to come out and replace our hot water heater. They even gave us a military discount on what was not covered under warranty, which was much appreciated! Our technician Jorge was great and answered all my questions. They did an excellent job replacing the unit and I would use them again!

    Not super friendly. When the problem.could not be corrected with a simple snake out, pictures were taken and I was left to my own devices. It took another company less than 5 minutes with a camera down the drain to diagnose the problem. No callback, no check-in, nothing. I get that I am just a home warranty customer and that companies are busy but, this is not the way.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Horrible service, very dishonest company. Beware! Never deal with this company, especially if the service request is under a home warranty. Their techs usually do nothing. They reason their way out so as not to resolve the issue, and still the homeowner is charged a service charge. My home warranty company, American Home Shield (AHS) sent this company for a leaking faucet service request. I was charged $125 for a service fee. They sent their technician, named Alex. He came looked at the faucet for few seconds and declared that it is not covered. He did not do anything, He just plainly said and insisted that it is not covered. He then suggested that he can fix it for $185. I told him that charge is exorbitant considering the issue is just a washer or the hose bib needed to be changed. A brand new hose bib cost about $8 at Home Depot. I could have replaced it myself had I had the correct tools at hand. I showed him my contract that it is under the covered items, which clearly states, "leaks and breaks of water, drain, gas, vent lines - faucets, shower heads, valves.... " He still insist that it is not covered. He then proceeded to call AHS and reason his way out, told lies to authorization department, of what the issue was to make AHS deny the claim. He told AHS that the reason of the leak was the faucet is not winterized. What in the world! It is clearly summer. Why would you winterize a faucet? This company just tell lies to avoid fixing anything but still get paid, in the expense of the homeowner. This company is run by THIEVES!!! I called American Home Shield complained and asked to refund my $125 I paid for service fee. I told AHS agent that I do not deserve to be charged exorbitantly for a service that did not occur because the technician literally did nothing! AHS denied the refund because their reasoning is that the technician already showed up. Yeah, he showed up to tell me straight lies, avoid to do the work, and basically stole my money! What a THIEF!!!! AVOID this company at all cost. I demanded AHS to ban this company in my future service requests.

    The Service Representative name was Argo. He had done a great job, very pleasant and thorough.

    I felt sorry for him as the water heater was taller than him and the cylinder must be 4' in diameter, not sure and the unit looks heavy.

    We were having issues with our garbage disposal. The home warranty company assigned AHS to fix the problem. When I was scheduling the visit, I was initially impressed with the fact that next day service was available. Stacy was extremely polite and super easy to work with. I really appreciated that. Jorge showed up on time yesterday and had our garbage disposal replaced and ready to go so quickly! I also greatly appreciate that as the technician, he put booties on over his work boots before entering my home. This is such a pet peeve of mine when workers come out to your house. Overall, I was very pleased with our experience and would recommend them.

    I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family. Alex worked quickly with my home owners insurance to have the water replaced. Jorge P. did an excellent job with the install. They answered all our questions and was very curious and professional. I would also like comment that Stacy was also VERY nice and respectful when speaking with her on the phone. She was excellent in answering questions about our out of pocket expenses. We were not impressed with Evone. She was short and seemed very irritated that we had questions. Still a five star overall for this company.

    I'll be leaving a more detailed Yelp review, but basically the 20 mins. they spent with us telling our plumbing issues were our fault ... was debunked by another plumber in 10 mins. No, we didn't need to replace a regulator or look at our pipes. All we needed was someone who knew what they were doing.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

    After 3 times being out to fix a water leak in the wall, they made sure that the home warranty wouldn’t cover the issue. The issue was a broken “T” at the service access to snake drains. The issue was completely behind the wall. They told the warranty company that it wasn’t a natural issue and that they would not fix the issue without an additional $550 on top of the $125 deductible. A bunch of clowns to say the least

    UPDATE-
    The second opinion I got was necessary. The other company I went with knew how to fix the issue and didn’t try any bull****. Was covered by home warranty and took the professional about 15-20 minutes.

    I asked the work from American Home Shield. And a they called me and told me that a technician will come between 1pm to 4pm. The Technician didn't call me before 15 minutes and I comeback to home right away and i called him.He came but he didn't do anything that day. I was waiting for long time and i called to Advanced Home Services again and they told me they didn't get the answer of the authorization from AHS. I was waiting again. I called to AHS again and i found that the tech haven't ask to AHS for authorization yet. Whaaat???? I think that the Tech forget to ask Authorization to AHS. And had to wait long time and they didn't fix anything because all authorization were not approved. Even the my water of kitchen faucet doesn't come very much. They didn't fix it.I don't know what they told to AHS. I just paid to AHS 75 dollars and got anything. I would be aware of this company. They are not responsible and professional at all. I asked the price just in case and they told me very high price to fix all that. I asked another company he fixed my faucet leaking pipe very low price in 10 minutes. He was amazing.

    • I have used ADVANCED HOME SERVICES for over 7 years.

    • They are a family owned business.

    • Supervisor Yvonne, Manager Justin, Technician Ray, Vinnie the Technician and the entire staff are very friendly, professional, and care for their customers.

    • Advanced Home Services have repaired my plumbing issues, toilet leaks, water heater, and refrigeration matters.

    • They are REASONABLY and AFFORDABILITY priced!

    • There is a SYSTEM to the REPAIR PROCESS! This practice PROTECTS the CUSTOMERS and the OWNERS of any business establishments.

    • Either contracted by a Home Warranty Service Company or calling them directly, YOU will get an HONEST and REASONABLE quote by a PROFESSIONAL.

    • What some people DO NOT understand is that most Home Warranty Services DO NOT cover any, some, or all of the expenses. This depends on the magnitude of the problem with the appliances, air condition unit, plumbing issues, heating, etc…Some things can be repaired, while others needs to be replaced. These repairs and or installations need to be brought up to code within the city (Permits). Most of the time, this is not covered by the warranty services and costs $$$. Customers are unaware of this and get bent out of shape when they receive a quote. Why should any repair business should have to pay out of their pocket when they are trying to make a living too.

    • Just a week ago my water heater was leaking and produced no hot water. I called Advanced Home Service late in the day and they sent a technician the very next day to examine the problem. He thoroughly explained to me the situation of which I needed a new water heater and that the supervisor will be calling me shortly about what my options are. Yvonne called and informed me of the situation. She was extremely detailed amongst the estimates about either installing a new water heater or a tankless heater (rebates). I told her that I would call her back the next morning. Later in the day, I called 2 of my best friends who are contractors in California and asked for their advice. They both were surprised on how low the costs were for either option. For my peace of mind, I even called another repair company contracted by my Home Warranty Service and they were DOUBLE the cost of what Advanced Home Services quoted me! You bet I called them the same day to have them install a new water heater as I did not want to lose that price!

    • The next day, Vinnie the Technician came and installed the new water heater within an hour. He was extremely kind, professional, and made sure everything was working properly and efficiently before he left. Thank you Advanced Home Services for having Vinnie on your staff. Ask for VINNIE the Technician to repair or install your water heater.

    • When it rains, it pours! A few days ago, my toilet in the master bathroom started to leak a little from the base. Who do I call? You betcha I called ADVANCED HOME SERVICES to fix the issue. The Technician Ray came out the next day and repaired it in a flash and the leak was gone. He too is super very nice and professional. Thank you Advanced Home Services for having Ray on your team for years. Ask for RAY to service any issues as he is the master of all trades. We have used him a few times over the years!

    • During these unprecedented times due to the Covid-19 Virus, people are afraid and there are mistakes going to be made. We are ALL in this together. Let’s work collectively and show compassion for one another.

    • I have NEVER experienced an issue, problem, situation or any complaint from ADVANCED HOME SERVICES. But if there was a mistake or if something were to happen, I am NOT going to express myself by giving bad reviews. I would call the place of business and inform them of the situation and give them another opportunity. They will right the wrong. Tradesmen, Businesses, and People's livelihood are at stake.

    • I am truly GRATEFUL and APPRECIATIVE that ADVANCED HOME SERVICES have been there for my family and others throughout the years!
