Aksarben ARS Heating, Air Conditioning and Plumbing

Had them come out to inspect the AC at my mother’s home. Already told them it was low on freon. $116 later for a service call they told me there was multiple things wrong with it and for peace of mind, with an elderly parent, they suggested spending thousands and replacing it with a new unit. He said replacing the freon alone in the old unit would be $1400! Got a second opinion from another company, guy found the freon leak and repaired it in 30 minutes. Cost, $250. Pays to shop around. Stay away from companies like this!!

The technician, Brian R., was awesome! He was very personable and I will request him for future service on my HVAC system. Technically he was late, but it was communicated with me and expectations were made clear. Something to note, we had a couple of -40 degree days recently so I understood the delay of getting to those without heat before getting to my routine maintenance call. Overall very happy with the company and technician.

The company was very responsive to my slight emergency situation. The technician thoroughly researched the issue and its cause. He then discussed his findings. He told me what needed immediate attention and what should be addressed over the next 6 to 12 months. Matthew was an outstanding tech and left me feeling comfortable in my decision to use Aksarben Heating and Air.

Brian was great at explaining everything! He was quick and offered suggestions to issues for now and those in the future. I would definitely have him back.

They were supposed to run a new gas line as we were switching to a gas range. Instead of going back to the main line and bringing over 3/4 inch line they tapped into the 1/2 feeding the water heater that was close by. All they did was replace the elbow with a T connection and run 10 ft of 1/2 in flex pipe through the floor, which I am not sure is even code? The valve behind the range was put in sloppy so the range won’t go all the way back to the wall. For this we waited 2 weeks they changed nearly $800 and were not here an hour?
I called their customer service and never got a call back. My wife and daughter were the ones here and both felt the techs complained a lot and would have done it right had a guy been there.

Brandon was very thorough in performing and explaining the spring service for my system. I was especially pleased that he willingly wore the mask I provided and did a fantastic job of cleaning my outside air conditioning unit.

Jesus was very knowledgeable and professional. He was very courteous. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why.

Jeff arrived on time and went to area to service leaking valve. Repair was done and he explained everything that was done. Just had to tighten valve. Also checked outside faucet for any problems.

Aksarben installed entire new HVAC System, Humidifier & Water Heater in 2019. To keep our investment in the new equipment in notch condition , we enrolled in the ARS maintenance program. In my opinion is absolutely essential to assure that our system is functioning properly, it is truly essential for our comfort. Highly Recommend
