Wichita Heating & Cooling

I called Wichita because I wanted to get an idea of how much a new AC and furnace would be. Bill (the owner) is super nice, he came over just a few days after I called for an estimate and got us taken care of. He was honest with his recommendations and explained everything very well. He helped me understand what needed to be done and gave me a quote. The prices are very reasonable and nothing extra was added on without discussing it first. I was so impressed that we moved forward with the install. Though the work hasn't been performed yet, waiting on permits and supplies, I am already impressed and recommend Wichita to anyone reading this. Bill and his team have been able to answer all my questions whenever I call and they are all very kind and professional. Plus the warranties they offer are very good so I am confident I will be happy for a long time.

EDIT 11/4/22: They came out and completed the work this week and WOW they did a GREAT job!!! The install crew was very nice, kept my house clean and tidy, and got the work done in just one day. We had a lot of work done to bring everything up to code and I am very happy with the results. New furnace, new vents/ducting around the unit, new gas shut off valve, condensate pump and tubing, new electrical switch, and they even added an electrical outlet for us! For the AC they added a riser to the unit and brought it up to the perfect height. The new units are both very quiet and look super nice. 12/10 great work!!

I should have checked my a/c system earlier this spring but I just took it for granted it would be fine. I was wrong and the house was soon as humid as the lied jungle even with fans. Everyone that we dealt with treated us like a good neighbor you know you can trust. They squeezed us in and didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. I appreciate the extra they did to make my house comfortable again. Thanks again everyone.

Our heat pump unit from previous years broke down & could not be repaired.

Wichita was kind enough to install a temporary cooling unit until the new heat pump was ordered & installed.They kept us cool with the temporary unit.
The new heat pump is excellent.

The Technician (Aldo) responded very quickly and was very professional. The incident was on there weekend and he did not have access to the correct part but was able to use a generic part to solve the heating issue to get the heat back in our house. Aldo also returned back to our house early the next week and installed the part that was needed. Again very knowledgeable and professional during the follow up visit.

Honest and reliable, is what it comes down to. They don't try to sell you things you don't need, so I trust their recommendations. Our A/C unit recently broke down, and while the model was discontinued, they were upfront about the temporary fixes, and that they would be more expensive long-term, and gave us multiple options for replacements that allowed us to choose what would work best for our budget, including financing options. They got us in quickly, and replaced our entire system in just a few hours!

Excellent, timely, professional and thorough. I had a burned out A/C motor. They came out quickly, fixed my broken unit and tuned up the other two units. Good value!

I heard about this company through my neighborhood app, they were highly recommend on there, and did not disappoint! 3rd generation family-owned. Our AC went out and we initially called another company who did the whole sales pitch and ended up with a quote a few thousand higher than what we ended up paying with Wichita for similar products, so I feel we got a great price through them! They fixed our old a.c. for free to get us through to the appointment. Every single worker we encountered was timely, professional, clean, and respectful of our home. They will be our go to heating/air company, and I'll be happy to recommend them to friends and family.
