If you have a home warranty do not use this company. I used this company through my home warranty to repair a leak in my AC system. The technician did the repair and instructed me to watch my system to make sure it was cooling right, and if it wasn’t to put in a recall ticket to the warranty company to have them come out again. My system ran constantly only getting my house to 78 degrees. I placed a recall ticket and Budget called me and said they had to come out and do a re- diagnosis. When the technician came he didn’t even take the cover off the unit, he didn’t check any pressures - nothing. All he did was take a picture of the unit and in his notes wrote client stated home warranty company refused to replace due to physical damage to the unit. He stated it was 75% blocked. He didn’t even take the cover off! And the unit is not blocked - in fact the previous technician who did the leak repair the week before stated the air was flowing fine after her did the repair. I then received a denial for coverage from the warranty company because Budget submitted that the unit was 75% blocked, and that I had been previously refused replacement. I called and spoke with CJ a manager at Budget asking what I could expect from a diagnosis visit.
When I explained that the technician literally did nothing. CJ told me that what he did was what was authorized by the warranty company (taking photos), and that I would have to go back to my warranty company and start over. All I was asking for was a proper diagnosis.

Plumber was awesome. He was very professional and the folks on my work call did not even know he was there working. He explained everything, gave me pointers and was done with 3 toilets, one sink, a bathtub and a garbage disposal repair in less than an hour.

They claimed I needed a new furnace because they couldn’t figure out why it was leaking a large amount of water that trailed across my basement. The knew furnace did the same thing. It took 5 trips by their technicians to figure it out. I had told them from the beginning that it was related to the humidifier, which it turned out to be. They charged me $500 for a condensate pump which was never refunded despite it not being needed. Then when it got warm my ac wouldn’t work turned out the ac wasn’t properly connected when the furnace was installed. I was told the owner would call me to work all this out & never heard from him/her. I would avoid this company at all costs.

I used this company as a part of home warranty. They visited my house for small drip in shower, but came up with estimate of over 2k and it would not be covered by warranty “due to secondary” damage. Obviously, I get charged $100 for appointment anyway. No attempt from the company to explain the estimate till I call them. At that point - standard “we offer competitive pricing”.

Budget heating and cooling did a great job. They call, text, email to let you know when the technician is on their way. That was very much appreciated. Matt was professional, thorough and solved our air conditioning problem. I would highly recommend them.

I have never been more disappointed in a so-called professional business there was nothing wrong with my air I just wanted to honor my home warranty because they sent me a message it was time to look at my A/C until. Budget came on May 22 2023 and by May 25 2023 my wife 6 year old son and I was sitting in a 90+ 🌡degree house unbelievable , their tech positive days cuz created a problem with my AC unit ( Facts )

Was charged 69.99 to tell me it was my capacitor. The unit is 3 years old and all parts are under warranty. They said they don't know how to process warranty parts and wanted to charge me 400.00. Seriously are they not a business???

Now I have to wait for my regular place until Monday.
Who wants to pay 400.00 when I paid only 120 with another company and they did the warranty replacement on the part. This company is a rip off. I bet they still do the warranty on the part and pocket even more money.

Had an issue with my furnace and was assigned them via my home warranty company. Rather than wait for them to call, I called them the morning after putting in my service request and the young lady who answered said they could have a tech come to the house that afternoon. The tech (Cam) was very courteous, and professional, and took his time diagnosing and fixing the issue (a part needed to be replaced, which he had in his work truck). All in all, a great experience and I appreciate the fast service.
