    Purchased new HVAC system though this company in the summer. The price was fair at first, but they were only friendly and helpful until we made a deal. The unit I was originally quoted for was too big on the day for install and the gave me a smaller unit (did not lower the price). They also installed the AC on the side of my house (per my request), but this originally failed inspection because it appeared to be 3 feet from my neighbor's property. I ended up working this out but Vitt was 0% helpful along the way. They also did not tell me that putting the unit on the side of the house may cause it to fail inspection (something the inspector said they should have known). Overall I would use a different reputable company if you're in a position where you're willing to pay extra to have things done correctly like I was.

    I called Vitt to come diagnose and repair what seemed to be my furnace blower motor going out. They set me up with an appointment that worked for my schedule and Craig showed up right on time. He was great to work with, diagnosed the problem pretty quickly (making sure to rule out simpler and cheaper repairs first), already had the right replacement parts on the van, and finished the install of the new motor in under an hour. I'll plan on calling Vitt again in 6 months for my regular HVAC maintenance!

    My furnace wasn't turning on at all during a cold spell and with days of snowfall. When I called, the customer service reps were very responsive and helpful. They and the technician, Nick, were very communicative from my initial call to the day of the visit. Nick was prompt, courteous, and very professional. He diagnosed the problem and talked me through my options. As a single woman, I greatly appreciate the high level of integrity and professionalism demonstrated by him everyone else in the company. Vitt will be my go-to for heating and cooling needs from now on!!

    We had a 6.5 foot gas line run to a hot water heater. First I had a 2pm appointment. The tech arrived about 2:30. Then he had to go to home Depot for the pipe. And again later for something else. My boyfriend had to help the tech. I think the tech should have called the office for another tech to come help him. Also, the water heater was not lit when done. This is not what I do for a living but, I think the job took way to long and I should get some kind of refund because my boyfriend helped.
    JUST TO BE FAIR...THE TECH WAS NICE. The office called me and I explained what happened. I was not offered any refund. I will not be using them ***UPDATE***Thank you Josh for helping me resolve this so quickly.

    We needed an unexpected repair to our furnace after the gas company updated our lines. Vitt was able to come out same day to check the issue and returned the next day to complete the repair. We appreciated the fast and friendly service.

    On April 23rd, my partner and I had our A/C unit repaired by Vitt Heating and Cooling to the tune of over $400. I was more than fine with paying that price, but didn’t think I would be sitting here on June 15th (just shy of 8 weeks later) with our A/C out again. When he called to ask about the parts warranty - we were told the part was only guaranteed for 30 days…WHAT?! Absurd…and I can assure you we will never be using this service again. Take your money elsewhere to a place that will back up their quality of work with a longer policy than 30 days.

    The service was great the tech Mr Craig Horner was prompt courteous and new his work and repair skills. The sales tech. .Mr Randall Powell was thorough with his explanation of installation and quote .Thanks..for future service we will call on them again.

    After talking to 5 different contractors about removing our old AC and installing a new system, we decided to go with Vitt and I am glad that we did. They were reasonable, knowledgeable, efficient, went above and beyond, and were great with communication (main problem I’ve had with past contractors).

    Details:
    When Jerry visited to provide an estimate he was the only contractor that mentioned that they work in the attics of old early 1900 homes all the time and have often temporarily removed attic fans to be able to access and install the air handler (necessary in our case). He also understood what we were looking for, and quoted us one of the lower costs out of the 5 contractors. For any follow up questions that I had, Jerry was quick to respond, at anytime throughout the day.

    Tony and his team did the installation. They installed the new air handler and condenser on a Monday, when I was working from home, downstairs. They were much quieter than I expected, and always gave me updates and showed me their progress when I took breaks to check in on them. It was obvious that they came prepared, and weren’t surprised or delayed by anything in our old attic.

    Lastly, they went above and beyond when they provided me extra insulation for the pipes on our other AC system, which was outside of their scope.

    Our AC went out over July 4th holiday weekend. Vitt responded quickly and had an appointment later on the day they responded. Jake, the service technician was awesome and fixed the unit! I recommend this company! They are friendly and knowledgeable! Thank you for the service.
