Vitt repaired my AC condenser same-day during a summer heat advisory. Every technician and staff member I dealt with was friendly and professional. It was a huge relief to have my air conditioner fixed the same day it was reported.
However, I get the impression that the management of this company pressures their employees to be salespeople. All 4 staff members I talked with tried to sell me a yearly membership, even before they looked at my unit to diagnose the problem! The first technician knocked on my door and began our discussion by explaining their membership plans and asking if I'd be interested in purchasing them before he looked at my AC. A few days after I paid $1300 to have my AC repaired and cleaned, their sales team called me to try to sell me a new HVAC unit on top of that. When I asked how much of the $1300 would be deducted from the new unit, they said I would need to negotiate that with their estimator. Hard pass.
Although the staff members were good, the experience with Vitt felt like I was dealing with a used car dealership. I have a general distrust of the company now and would not recommend them unless you're OK with dodging multiple sales pitches just to get your HVAC repaired. I've hired multiple contractors to fix various things in my house, and none of them used sales tactics like this. I suspect that Vitt’s management team caused every negative aspect of my experience with them.
I couldn’t be more thankful for this company responding to me so quickly. My house was over 85 degrees because my circuit board went out. They sent technician Luke F. to my house the next day. Luke was so wonderful to work with. He was very knowledgeable and kind to answer all of my questions. He did a amazing job on getting my ac back up and running for me. He is the best! I will definitely be using this company again in the future as well as telling everyone I know how wonderful this company is.
Extremely rude answering service. No one showed up 2 days in a row. Claiming they called us multiple times and didn't answer but we received only 1 phone call and we have been calling back over and over again. We missed work and we have 2 elderly dogs. I understand they're busy but they were extremely rude. waiting around in a house at 90 degrees all night and all morning made us choose a different service. They need to work on their scheduling and communication skills.
Update: someone finally came out. He was nice and professional and explained to me the problem and fixedit. It obviously isn't his fault but we won't be choosing this service again because of the poor experience and unkindess from the people working the phones
I recommend Vitt. After several bids from other ac companies I am glad I used Vitt. One other company tried to sell me a heat pump I did not want or need. The other companies I feel were trying to take advantage of me as I am a female. They gave me bids for so much more. Just use Vitt. I had a new gas furnace installed and 2 ton ac for my condo. The other ac guys just gave me headaches. Just use Vitt. Save yourself the frustration of those other companies.
In the past I have used Vitt and I was happy with them, but I was just sent an invoice from almost three years ago that I wasn’t supposed to get in the first place. Instead of working with me to figure out a solution, they forced me to pay, and they lost a customer.
How you treat your customers is important. Never working with Vitt again.
I am very pleased with Vitt Heating. I woke up to a very chilly house. Upon calling Vitt, the lady who received my call was professional, and had a genuine response to my needs. Within a few hours Chris, the technician was here and had my furnace up and running. I can't express how thankful I am for them getting me in today. Chris explained followup procedures if I should need them. I would recommend this team for any future needs to my friends and family. I was recommended by a present customer of Vitt Heating and cooling.

I called Vitt to get a quote when my AC went out. They came over quickly and gave me a quote for free. I liked that they sent me a text with information about the person who would be coming over. I got a quote via email maybe 30 minutes later, so quick. They were able to get me in fairly quickly and replaced my AC and furnace in about 5 hours. I was very happy with the services provided, the professionalism, and the fact that everything got done fairly quickly.
