Daniel was our Technician very professional and Military Veteran we love that, since I am also Military Veteran.

Hoff Heating & AC is always there for our HVAC needs. We always have professional yet personable service from the office staff to the techs that service our HVAC system.

The technician Tim, provided professional experienced repairs to a heat pump. He was courteous at all times and verified the replacement equipment installation successfully provided heat. Outside temperatures were extremely low and he worked outside until the problem was resolved without using my invite to come in and warm up for a few minutes. Good service all around. Thank you!
Update:
February 2023 *I remain pleased with the professionalism of the repairmen. However, the Loud noise close to vibrating the house including a high pitched squeal is ongoing. It has recently occurred when the furnace completes it's cycle during freezing temperatures.
A new compressor and an expansion valve was installed with the problem remaining ongoing.
Another issue was my personal Honeywell RTH8500D thermostat EMER mode to run exclusively off the electric furnace required the circuit breaker turned off.

The repairman replaced my thermostat with a stock Emerson thermostat. The EMER mode began working to stop the heat pump. When placed back in HEAT mode and during low temperatures the extremely loud noises resumed including sounding like a radiator without water.
A followup technician advised the Defroster thermostat may have been sticking and has scheduled a replacement on February 9, 2023. It may or may not have affected removing the upgraded thermostat to use EMER mode.
I may be unable to verify the results until the temperatures drop below freezing.
I am pleased with the service, but not the 3 year old heat pump's expensive ongoing problems.
To the good, Hoff Heating originally extended the parts warranty to 5 years and has saved a good deal of money. Labor, recovering the 'freon' and using chemicals to dry the lines was not covered.
I regret not spending the money to go Geothermal and use available rebates to offset the large difference in price.
Other Heat Pumps have lasted more than 3 years.
