R-Mech Heating Plumbing Cooling

Jon Adams was very professional and knowledgeable. He unclogged my tub drain, but also answered some other questions I had about plumbing. He was on time, friendly and resolved my issue. He also quoted me a reasonable price on a new hot water heater and install. Great service, would definitely recommend R-Mech to anyone!!

Michael Crow was at our home in less than two hours on a 94 degree day and our air was on again shortly after. Would definitely use them again. He even gave us recommendations for a future unit.

Jon came out to diagnose a backed up drain. He was on time, polite and courteous. He diagnosed the problem in minutes and was quick to get the drain unclogged. I am glad I called R-Mech to fix this and that Jon was the person who came to service the problem. R-Mech would be the first company I call in the future for any services they offer.

This is our 2nd time using R-Mech’s services. The first time was for our basement finish where they did our plumbing. Our AC stopped working overnight, so I reached out to them as soon as they were open for business. Despite this being the day after the hottest day of the year so far, they were able to get me on the list to see me today. Mike showed up approximately 1 hour before the window arrival time, after calling me to ensure that time frame was okay. Seeing as how it was 85° in my house already, I assured him that was great. He showed up, fixed the problem in no time, and didn’t gouge me when I would have happily paid more. Highly recommend their services, plumbing and now HVAC.

We purchased a Heat Pump for our home, after consulting with some of R-Mech's Technicians. It was a great option for our home and I was incredibly happy with their down to earth advice, and willingness to work within our budget to meet our needs. The installation went well, there were minor issues, but nothing that couldn't be worked around. The real trouble came about 4 months after the installation. We woke up one morning at the end of January to find that our heat had quit sometime in the night. A Technician was promptly sent out to find the issue, he diagnosed it as a bad control board, and told us that we would have to wait two weeks for the part to come in. No problem, we would deal with not having heat for a couple weeks. The part came in on time and was installed, but did not fix the issue. This lead to a game of "How many parts can we throw at it." that still isn't finished. It's been 4 months, and while our system now works some of the time, we never know when or what, is going to break next. R-Mech has been mostly unhelpful, with long breaks between contact, and excuse after excuse for why a brand new system keeps breaking. The worst part is that after the initial installation went so well, I recommended them to my friends and family members for their HVAC needs. I can only hope that, if they choose to use R-Mech, they have a more traditional heating system, as it seems like the Technicians have little to no experience troubleshooting Heat Pumps.

The technician called ahead and was on time. Performed the required service to our heating system and explained the process and checks as he went. Very professional and efficient- will definitely use this company again.

Very happy with the service and excellent pointers Brandon provided. Looks like we’ll be needing a new heating and cooling system in the next few years and R-Mech will be our first call when that day comes.

I would give 5 stars except I feel they're a little on the pricey side. For service and professionalism I give them a 10. I needed to have a new sink and garbage disposal installed and I was able to get an appointment for Saturday night with only a reasonably small upcharge. Like most service companies they gave me a window of time but our technician, John Adams, called significantly early and was able to be at my house hours before my appointment. In my case that was a blessing. John was a rockstar and I recommend asking for him when you call for an appointment. He looked at the situation, told me exactly what he planned to do and answered every silly question I asked with absolute respect. Several times he had to call me into the kitchen to show me something or explain why he was doing something and always gave me options when an addition to the service was needed. He was thorough, and cleaned up everything before he left. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of this project. In case it didn't come through with my review I heartily recommend R-Mech and especially John if you have any plumbing needs.

The technician was very professional and informative. Provided recommendations for keeping system clean and running efficiently. I used the same company, R-Mech when I had the system installed, and have been very happy with their service.

Cory was on time, knowledgeable and professional. He was able to locate a couple of issues with our ac unit and gave me some options on how it could be fixed. I’m glad we had the bi-annual maintenance scheduled, he was able to fix the issue, before it turned into a bigger problem, so our unit will be all ready for the summer heat.
