R-Mech Heating Plumbing Cooling

I had paid for an outside faucet replacement, but the plumber, Kyle, couldn't do that because of a finished basement. He suggested a parts replacement; even had the parts on his van. This fixed the leak. Kyle was very experienced, and helpful.

I used R Mech last year when my water sourced heat pump was acting up. Though R Mech is a self-described expert in heat pumps, the first technician said my thermostat just needed replaced, so I was disappointed when it proved to be a misdiagnosis after purchasing and installing a new one with same issue. When they came back out to try again, it was obvious the new technician did not have experience with this type of heat pump and was struggling to interpret his own diagnostic codes, so all in all I paid $99 for no accurate diagnosis, and wasted time. Thankfully a family friend found a patch fix, but now needing my system serviced again and I don’t think I’ll be using R Mech because if they do have experts, it certainly wasn’t the people they dispatched to me last year.

I’ve used R-mech for a couple years now for annual tune-ups and check ins on my HVAC system but no significant repairs or maintenance jobs. I like their servicemen and they are transparent and honest. I appreciate that. My only knock on them is they can be somewhat unreliable. There have been multiple times when they didn’t come when they said they would and we had to reschedule. Overall, I’ll keep using them unless that becomes too big of an nuisance

Talk about a hidden gem! I'm so grateful for R Mech. Top notch employees from installers, to service techs to office mgmt. I have never experienced such a level of customer service before. They have competitive pricing, amazing timing and they really do care. Hard to find these days!

The installers found major floor problems, and had to stop. As soon as it was repaired they were back and finished in one day. I was completely satisfied. Will definitely use them again.

I had Mitzi camera inspect my main line after a cleaning, and she was phenomenal! Professional as can be, as well as personable. We talked the whole time she was performing the scope. Mitzi was very knowledgeable, and even took the time to explain a couple ‘best practices’ to keep things maintained. She, ahd R-Mech we’re both referred by PMI-Destination Properties, and I’m very appreciative.

I had this business come out for an A/C system failure on a Monday evening. They found a bad circuit board. They told me the next morning was unlikely but they would for sure be out around noon the next day. They said I'd get a call in the morning for a quote on the part, which I did not get. When I called to follow-up, I was told they were booked and would not get in until the next day. Absolutely unacceptable to bait and switch, considering my AC system is out on an extremely hot day. Very, very poor communication. Really a shame because we had a good experience with their first visit.

Great experience with the R-Mech team, Mitzy, Adam, Brent, Joseph, Jamon and a few others. All were personable, competent and great to work with. I would and already have recommend R Mech to others.

R Mech has been my go to plumber for 10 to 12 years. They do excellent work, have friendly and helpful employees, and they don’t try to force up charge services - they just make sensible suggestions.

They are not the cheapest plumbing/ hvac company, but they are totally worth it. I really appreciate that they are very straightforward about cost options, and alternatives that save me money.

They have been to my houses at least 30 times, and did exemplary work each time. They did make one significant mistake, during a furnace replacement - but, they came back and promptly made it right.
