Ed is always prompt, friendly and professional. He quotes prices before doing any work. He repairs whenever possible to keep costs down. He stays with the job until he has sorted it out and the system is running again. I highly recommend Ed's Heating & Air Inc.
The response time and service were both exceptional when I discovered my A/C was not working on Sunday evening. Ed's son was knowledgeable, polite and extremely helpful. He had the cool air flowing in no time! I will definitely recommend Ed's Heating to my family and friends.
Did a great job. Was the only furnace company to come in and "size" the house. Suggested registers to be added (I did some of the work myself). He found that my original furnace installer had put in the wrong zone panel for my system, corrected that. Installed I-wave air purifier. Was finished in a very timely manner. He carries Day and Night furnaces that is a Carrier clone. Saved me$$. Very knowledgeable installer.
Wanted to get my HVAC serviced bc I am selling my house and wanted it to be in top shape. Googled AC repair yesterday, saw Eds info and read all the good reviews and the one bad one... called him up. I asked Ed about the one bad review so he knew I was watching closely. He admitted he needs to work on his communication over the phone. He was 10 minutes early, immediately diagnosed a small problem and fixed it with no BS. Glad I worked with Ed.
He didn't try to up sell me anything, he explained a thing or two on the system and was on his way. The reason I am writing this review is bc I did HVAC work through high school and college and my father ran an HVAC business for 30 years. I know what B.S. looks like and I know what honesty and quality looks like.
A guy like Ed doesn't need to have a polished communication style like one reviewer stated... But to me, his communication style is that of serviceman who has nothing to hide bc he is honest and very straight forward. I would call Ed today if you are having problems and trust what he says.
Our AC died on a 90 degree Saturday. Ed tried to give me some tips so he didn't have to come out, they didn't work but it was worth the try. He replaced the capacitor and refilled the refrigerant. It was a reasonable cost for a weekend and he looked at our furnace for free. I now have an air conditioning and heating guy.
It was 7pm on a Friday night, January 2018, below zero outside. My furnace would not fire. I called the number after searching "furnace repair near me" and Ed was working on somebody elses furnace while he talked to me. He tried to walk me thru resetting the pressure switch as temps in my house were dropping but I was unable to find the switch, even after he texted me a pic of one. He did show up when finished where he was and reset the switch which turned out to be inside the burner box. He also cleaned out the fresh air intake which had a wasp nest and leaves blocking the screen filter. Ed did tell me rates were higher due to evening but I thought still fair. I would definitely recommend and will call him with any future problems.
Ed, does great work for a fair price. He is good with quotes and responses to your questions. I would recommend him to a friend or family member. He also did a good job in cleaning up after the work was done.
I had duct work done in my basement and had a unit heater added to the garage.
Ed and Cory installed a new AC for me. They were honest, friendly and prompt. Their prices were extremely reasonable and straightforward. I highly recommend Ed for all HVAC needs!
Ed's did a rough in for our basement this summer. He was very professional in his work and asked questions on how we were going to finish the basement. He said to call him and he would come back to put all the vent covers on and cut the holes for the ceiling tile. I expected I would have to wait a week after I call him, but he was there the next day. Very nice man. I would call him again.
I highly recommend this company! My heat went out on Saturday evening. After calling several other companies that claim to be open 24 hours but didn't answer their calls, I reached Ed's Heating & Air. They answered the phone right away, and came to my house within a half hour to make the necessary repair. They were extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. When they say 24 hour service they mean it, unlike several other companies!
