My furnace was blowing cold air, I called Ed’s Heating & Air around 8:30 PM (well after hours) and he talked me through troubleshooting steps until the issue resolved and we had heat. He even used FaceTime so he could see my set up and provide better support. I had called other heating companies before reaching Ed’s and none of them provided phone support or assistance of any kind, some didn’t answer their phone and the house was getting cold prior to reaching Ed’s. Excellent service, experience and expertise! There are good people and exceptional businesses out there and Ed’s Heating & Air is at the top of that list.

Above and beyond! I called Ed on a Sat evening expecting to leave a message, but he not only picked up, but walked me through a pretty involved "smart thermostat" installation. He was knowledgeable with my older furnace and knew exactly how to get it up and running. I felt confident when I hit the switch to fire it back up and it's been running perfectly! I'll definitely be using Ed's Heating & Air when it's time to upgrade. Thanks, Ed!

I woke up on a Sunday Morning a few weeks ago and we had no heat. I called the large company that installed my furnace they said They said they had no one working on Sunday. I went on line and found Ed’s Heating. Ed was here in Woodbury and would be out within the hour. He showed up on time.
He determined that my old furnace needed to be replaced. We agreed and scheduled the new installation in two days. The installation was completed and heat was restored. The installation was well done and it looked perfect, his price was reasonable. We had heat again!!!
Dec 23rd. '22 we had a heating issue in the house on a sub-zero morning and Ed came through without missing a beat by helping me troubleshoot my Bryant Heater over the phone. Why over the phone? With the crazy cold weather, he was too busy to come out in person. After I explained the model of Bryant and what I had already done to troubleshoot, without pause he easily pointed out a couple ideas that he would have tried if he could come to our house. He even asked me to call him back after my cursory troubleshooting. Sure enough. Within 5 minutes I found the blocked trap Ed described I might find. A quick call back to him and a couple more tips, I had the trap removed, cleaned and reinstalled. Tada! The furnace was working like new again. Ed could have come out and eventually charged me $200-$300 dollars for what turned out to be a relatively simple fix, but he didn't. He took the time to fix this over the phone. Serious kudos to Ed for helping on such short notice. Thank you. A Woodbury gem. He'll get my next call when the furnace acts up again.
A few years ago, we arranged for Ed to replace a furnace at my elderly father-in-law's house in Woodbury. It was extremely cold at the time and Ed completed the job very quickly and at a fair price. We have since used Ed to replace both a furnace and air conditioning unit at a rental townhouse and were very pleased with his quick service and competitive pricing. Would highly recommend!
I had their technician out to replace a humidistat on my system. He did a great job and was quick and efficient. The cost was exactly as quoted also. I appreciate when you call a company and the owner answers the phone.
Ed was recommended to me by a friend that has known Ed for many years, when I asked my friend if he knew a good A/C and furnace guy, he immediately recommended Ed and gave me a contact phone number. Ed turned out to be an "old school" kind of guy that takes pride in doing a job right. Bottom line is, I'm very happy with my new furnace and A/C unit, and would have no problem recommending him to any friend or family member.
