The whole home inspector that I hired to look at a home, said that I should have a heating company check the furnace, because it was not running correctly. My brother recently had Sedgwick Heating and Air install a new heat/ air system at his home and he had highly recommended them.

I called Sedgwick and Brent arrived. He found several serious problems with the furnace and noted that it was already over 20 years old, which was (for this particular furnace), either at or very near the end of its expected service life.

Brent was very knowledgeable and explained things clearly and suggested several options for me to consider and was not pushy at all in his approach. He also left several cost estimates with me, for what a similar new furnace would cost, along with a higher efficiency type of furnace.

I am very pleased with Brent’s service and with Sedgwick so far. I myself happen to have a fair amount amount of experience with residential heating/ air conditioning maintenance and repair and I am happy to recommend Brent and Sedgwick. Mark S., south Minneapolis

I called the company at 10:30 pm. Within 10 minutes Jeremy, the technician, called me back and arrived at my house in another ten minutes. He replaced a failed capacitor and checked the AC unit after he had it running. He completed the job within about an hour of my first call to the company. Jeremy clearly explained the problem to me. 11/22/21: Chet Beiswenger serviced our furnace this morning. He is an outstanding ambassador for Sedgwick…personable, efficient, knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. Chet went above and beyond previous Sedgwick furnace service representatives by completing a meticulous and thorough maintenance of our furnace. In addition, he made several suggestions for filter maintenance, and a change to the thermostat setting, so the humidifier doesn’t dump water into the furnace when the furnace isn’t running. Thanks Chet for all you did today!

7/10/21: David was very personable as well as professional. He communicated what he was doing and why at every step of the process. Even though it was a Saturday evening at 8:00, he cleaned & repaired our AC as if it were Monday morning at 8:00. The fees for service and parts seemed a reasonable expense.

After getting an opinion with another company the other day who just made excuses to replace my furnace, my heater still wasn’t working in very cold temps. Called an emergency visit to my very cold house and they were quick to respond and come out. Did a very thorough job explaining and showing what was wrong and answering all my questions. Helped me figure out what the issue was and suggestions to take care of it long term as well as an alternative few plans if it doesn’t fix it. So glad I got a second opinion and I absolutely will be using them for all of my other furnace related needs

First, we were pleasantly surprised by their responsiveness. From our call, a technician arrived within two hours, announcing arrival half an hour ahead. Once he arrived he quickly diagnosed and isolated the problem to our ancient furnace control electric panel, independent of the furnace itself. He then said that he would have to come back with another technician the following day due to the nature of the repair, which happened the first thing in the morning. Within two hours of their arrival, our furnace got back to action.

then, at the end of the work, we were again pleasantly surprised by the bill, which was not bad at all, considering the type of work that they had to perform and that the work spanned over two separate visits.

Both of the technicians were friendly, courteous, very clear as to what the work was going to involve and left the work site spotlessly clean afterwards. We would certainly consider hiring Sedgwick again and recommend them to our friends and family as well.
