I needed to call Golden Valley heating on one of the hottest, humid day this summer. It was mid morning on a Friday and my daughters air conditioner had gone out. They came out that day and fixed it. I was expecting a huge bill but it was very fair. I will always trust this company and recommend them.

Our extremely positive experience with Golden Valley Heating & Air Conditioning's central air installation began at our local Costco with Clarence, GV's friendly and very knowledgeable representative. It continued with GV's owner Scott, who came to our 100 year old house (which we never thought could have central air, given that our heating is based on old-fashioned radiators), and showed us how a simple 2 unit Lennox system could make our beautiful old house much more comfortable than our 6 window units ever could. Scott listened closely to our expressed needs and came up with what we now believe is the best possible solution for our family home, not too little or too much, which kept the cost within our budget. The installation crew showed up right on time both days, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and meticulous, making sure floors were kept clean and everything picked up at the end of the day. Most important, we're very happy with how the system works. The last few days have brought extremely hot and humid weather, unfortunately an all too common trait of Minnesota summers. We're delighted that the system is both very comfortable and quiet. So far, we're very, very pleased.

I moved into my home 13 years ago and my AC has always worked perfectly. This year it didn't work so I called Golden Valley Heating & Air because they were local. My appointment was booked quickly (next day I think). the technician was friendly and professional. My bill was lower than I expected. This will be my first call for HVAC in the future.

I recently had Golden Valley install a new Lennox HVAC in my home. I am so pleased with this company and Lennox products. The process started with one of the owners visiting our home and sizing up our needs. Brian clearly explained to me his recommendations along with a firm quotation of the costs and current rebates. No high pressure sales pitch.
His quote was very fair and much less than two other bids I had received.
The install commenced on the agreed upon date and was performed by two outstanding and very professional technicians. They took great care in covering up all walkways before starting. They dismantled the old equipment and hauled everything away without damaging our walls. The highly rated and high efficiency Lennox system looked well designed and built. And the whole system including the outdoor condenser is so quiet. When the install was complete, Jared and Evan carefully explained the system to me and how to operate the very cool WiFi capable thermostat.
It was so nice dealing with such a professional couple of guys.
Most importantly, my wife thinks I’m smart for choosing GV for this job.

We decided to get a more energy efficient Lennox system through Costco. Golden Valley Heating and Air showed up right on time and got started right away. Outstanding service. Called at 455 pm and they were able to send a very experienced tech out by noon the next day (and this was a Friday during a hot spell). AC was not working. Quick diagnosis, replacement part was in van, and cool air restored. Thanks GV!

I've found my go-to company for HVAC! Golden Valley Heating and Air is one of the most helpful companies I've ever worked with.

After getting an extremely high estimate from a competitor to have an AC condenser unit removed for a few days and re-installed after a concrete patio was put in our back yard, we called GV Heating and Air. They gave us a ballpark cost over the phone (which most other companies refuse to do so they can charge you a "service fee" to come stand in your back yard and take a couple pictures). The estimate was so much lower than the estimate we got from the competitor, we asked them to come out.

We were on a tight schedule because our concrete patio was being poured a few days later. They squeezed us in and removed the unit in time for us to have the patio put in.

Today, one of your awesome techs came out and re-installed it. Everything is back up running smoothly, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We saved over $1000 by getting a second opinion from GV Heating & Air. Their service was outstanding as well!

Don't get screwed over by someone else...call GV Heating & Air FIRST!

A little less than four years ago these folks replaced our furnace and air conditioner. They had also installed our furnace when we moved here in 1987. As things got cooler here this fall we tried to turn on the furnace and it didn't work. We called them this morning. They had someone here before noon who diagnosed the problem. He needed a part, but came back in the early afternoon and finished the job. Cost? $0. Under warranty. We expected to pay so to get it done the say day without charge was wonderful. These folks are the best.
