    I am a new homeowner and dealing with this company was not a great first experience having someone come to my home.

    I called them because my furnace was blowing cold air. They sent a man out two days later and when he got here I was outside in my backyard and didn't hear him knock. I looked at my watch and realized he should be here and went outside to let him in.

    I could tell he was already ornery from the second he walked in. He must have waited only 2 minutes. Boo hoo.

    He looked at the furnace for a few minutes and then said the sensor looks like it needs to be replaced but he doesn't have the part so he needs to drive back to the shop to get it. He left and came back about 20 minutes later, changed out the sensor (an $11 part), didn't bother checking if it fixed the issue (which it did not) and had the audacity to charge me $200. So basically they wasted my time and money. I will never use this company or recommend them.

    TLDR: ornery man spent 10 minutes looking at furnace, changed out cheap part, charged me $200, didn't verify problem was fixed or offer any advice and left.

    We had a great experience utilizing GV Heating & Air with our new furnace and A/C installation through Costco. The installers were professional, clean, quick, and very helpful throughout the process. We highly recommend them.

    They were polite, respectful of my home, explained things in a way I understood. Tolerated my dog jumping all over them with patience. Put down rugs everywhere and wore shoe coverings. They had to move some of our things that we hadn't moved and they moved the items with care. I trusted them in my house though I had to leave to go to work. They made sure to ask how to lock up and did lock up. They did great work! Very happy with the service. I had a new a/c unit and furnace installed, I would recommend them and I will use them again in the future.

    We recently replaced our 21 yr old furnace and air conditioner. We settled on Golden Valley Heating & Air for three reasons: because we liked and trusted Doug, our salesman, they were able to provide a temporary Freon charge to hold us over the hot weather, and the low CostCo price. Our salesman answered our questions, gave solid advice, and was able to arrange the temporary Freon charge. Everyone at the front desk who answered our phone calls throughout the process was courteous, friendly, and helpful. Phil, the service technician who did the temporary Freon fill, was helpful, professional, and friendly. Shawn and Matt, the two technicians who installed in the new furnace and air conditioner, were both excellent. They replaced the vents and service lines, the furnace, and the AC and it looks great. All the joints are clean, all the pipes and hoses were artfully placed, and all the duct joints caulked and taped. The building inspectors commented how nice a job they did. Everyone we dealt with is a credit to Golden Valley Heating & Air. They took great care of us. They are a professional staff that does absolute great work. A great team top to bottom.

    The wait to get our HVAC quote was a couple of weeks and the work was scheduled 1 month out from that, so we had a bit of a wait which was a bummer (although it was middle of summer and sounds like all HVAC companies prioritize A/C installs now). Other than the wait though, the salesman who came out for the quote was great and the two guys who came out for the install were equally pleasant. The work looked good and the city inspector commented on the attention to detail of the work these guys had done with the install, which was reassuring. Overall, this was a good experience. I would use them again.

    I had them come in to do a tune up at the beginning of the first winter I owned my first house. He was quick, efficient and incredibly courteous. He utilized filters that were already there and even re-used a piece of scrap flex pipe I had to re-hook up the drain. It wasn't a huge cost savings but I appreciated him taking every effort to make it affordable. He also was able to educate me on my furnace, maintenance, and general heating and cooling information. Will definitely be calling again.

    We ordered a new furnace and AC unit. The installation went great and the guys doing the install were professional and really know what they were doing. I appreciated the call backs from the company on any issues and teir ability to file for the rebates for us. great Job !!!!!!!!!

    Last month we discovered that our Air Conditioner was broken. Unusually the beginning of June was very hot. We looked up online and called The Golden Valley Heating and Air because of their good review. They told us there was a waiting list. After waiting for a month, Heath (HS), one of their technicians came out and fixed our AC. He was very knowledgeable, efficient and very friendly. We really recommend this company to anyone who wants to fix their AC and it was worth waiting for.

    I don't usually find the time to write reviews and it's something that perhaps we all can get better at - because in this case, we have been incredibly pleased with Golden Valley Heating and all the effort you and your teams have dedicated to ensure our satisfaction.

    From the beginning, you worked with us to understand systems within our price range, provided ample detail on rebates and cost savings. Provide administrative support to submit the rebates. Sent technicians over to help us balance the system after installation when we had difficulty. Allowed another technician to help us again when we struggled with system balance and season change, which they went out of their way to provide magnetic seals over vents as needed. And then, as of recently our damper broke when adjusting controls, which you team came to fix at no cost due to installation error previously. We have been incredibly pleased with your service and dedication.

    We had an appointment for GV H&A to come out and find out why our AC was failing and the day before they arrived, the furnace sent a burned plastic smell through the house and died. The repairman arrived on time, wearing a face mask for safety, was professional, quickly diagnosed the problem and had a part that would work - the fan blower motor had died. He replaced it and got the furnace and AC back up and running. He didn't try to upsell us on anything we didn't need and I very much appreciate it because it would have added overwhelm to a stressful situation. $409 was the total, $180 for the motor, other parts $10, labor $219 for about 2.5 hours. It was reasonable, cheaper than buying a new furnace, and much less hassle than it would have been to install a new furnace. We very much appreciate the work they did and will use their business again in the future.
