I had accidentally cut the wire going from my thermostat to my furnace and immediately was very stressed because I didn't have the money for a big fix. Northwinds responded to our request right when they opened and had someone come out a few hours later. The service technician, Rick B. was very kind, quick to find the solution and fair when it comes to price. It took him a total of 20 minutes to fix the issue and he was gone within 40 minutes of him showing up altogether. The best part is, because it was a relatively fast fix, I was only charged the diagnostic fee and even set up with a quote to upgrade my very old system. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Nate came out and looked at our 20+ year old furnace and AC and give us a quote on replacing them before they gave out on us. He took the time to explain how the system works, spoke in easy to understand terms, and was not pushy in any way. He quoted us 2 different options and explained optional add-ons. He also gave me a follow up call the week after the installation to see how things were going, to see how the service was, and to offer future support as needed.

Lon and his team came to our house for the install and completed the work in 2 days. He was right on time, communicative, hard working, and did a great job!

We didn't get a quote from any other company because I liked the customer service of Northwinds so much, so I am not sure how they compare price-wise to their competitors. But I will go with great customer service over saving a few bucks any day. They have won me over and I would recommend them to any family or friends that needs a repair or installation.

Since moving to this area, I've turned to North Winds for HVAC service more often than all other firms combined. I've found them to be efficient, professional. and principled, with a steadfast commitment to quality service. Most recently I interacted with Nate concerning a prospective HVAC upgrade, and found him to be personable, knowledgeable and prompt when fielding my many questions.

Justin performed our seasonal maintenance today with professionalism, care, and knowledge. He was able to answer our questions, and he performed a thorough system cleaning. We have been quite pleased with the North Winds maintenance contract. Before Justin left, he scheduled our fall, tune-up, too. We chose North Winds a few years ago to install a new HVAC after we were dissatisfied with our previous service company. We continue to be grateful for the technical expertise helpful approach of the team at North Winds.

I cannot recommend Northwinds enough! Derek made several trips to our office building to sort out a very messy AC/heating system. Derek and Tyler spent hours fixing our thermostat and the entire system. They were professional, courteous, efficient, and responsive to questions. Derek in particular was amazing!
