Rick Boitos is THE BEST service technician around. We trust him implicitly with our heating & cooling systems. Today, he thwarted what could have turned into a tragedy, by finding and repairing a broken connection for the furnace vent. (Recent work in the crawl space by another service provider likely resulted in the damage.) Rick secured the vent to prevent future damage, like that found. He also provided us with a proper low-level CO detector. Thank you, Rick and Northwinds Heating & Cooling for outstanding service!!!

Coming home from vacation to a house with no AC on a hot, humid day is no fun. Within three hours of calling though, North Winds had a technician on our doorstep! Amazing! Jon was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and did the job quickly and efficiently. The price was fair too. I will never call anyone but North Winds for any future heating and cooling needs.

I called North Winds on a Friday morning. The super lovely and efficient 'coordinator' (not sure of the title) informed me that they were booked up for the day but that they'd try to squeeze us in. I informed her that if a technician wasn't able to make it same-day or within business hours that we would happily pay the extra 'emergency fee' charged to have someone come out over the weekend.

Not only did they squeeze us in that same day (when they easily could have saved themselves the trouble and made more money by coming the next day), the diagnostics and repair took less than an hour to complete and cost less than $300 (including the $99 diagnostic fee!). Our AC unit is so old that the manufacture and install date are worn off of it, so we were quite impressed and surprised that they were able to repair it at all, especially for such a great rate. Our technician, Jon, was extremely knowledgeable, speedy, and professional.

We couldn't be happier with our experience and will be using North Winds for all of our future HVAC business.

A technician, Jon, came today for a maintenance check on our furnace. This is part of the free service you get with an extended warranty. Jon was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I had a few questions which he answered for me and let me know that they will come back for an A/C check when the weather warms up. I highly recommend North Winds.

North Winds installed a furnace and air conditioning system shortly after we moved into our current home, about 20 years ago. When we moved in, the home only had a air to air heat exchanger heat pump system with electric backup. This might have worked at one time but not when we moved in. We had several companies provide bids on changing us over to a conventional heating and cooling system but we settled on North Winds. What won us over was their professionalism, greater analysis of our needs and better product and service warranties. They were not the cheapest bid we received but, for something this important, we were more interested in quality and reputation. We've had our system checked for spring and fall season start up almost every year and been very pleased with the low cost and high quality service.

In late summer of 2015, our aid conditioner stopped working, well over its 15 year expected life span, especially with our heavy use. North Winds came out immediately, determined a replacement to be better for us in the long run than a fix and had the new unit up and running in 4 days!!

We couldn't be happier with the folks at North Winds and I would highly recommend them for anyone who is looking for high quality products and high quality service.
