Got an estimate of $21,170 for two mini splits. $1200 of it was an electric panel take off. No other special circumstances. I priced out the retail price of all install equipment (estimating high). By my calculations they would be charging me about $1200 per hour to install these units. Maybe they were going to bring Edison back from the dead to do the install.

We have been a customer of Royal Air since 1997. Our second A/C system failed this year on one of the hottest days of the year. They offered us 4 different options which included included a heat pump that came with a MassSave rebate that brought the cost close to just replacing our A/C. We went with that. They installed in a day. There were at one point ten people working at once. I am really happy with it.
