Nick Williams was excellent! Walked through the entire set up of our new/replacement air conditioning unit and answered all questions thoroughly. He was polite and pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend and ask for Nick to service your a/c unit.

Our AC technician Nick did an outstanding job reviewing and showing me the problem we had with our AC (low coolant, frozen pipe, condensation) and did a terrific job getting everything taken care of. Super polite, clean, professional. We are in Reading MA and he was right on time.

Royal Air systems have made two visits. The first was for a problem with the air conditioning, the tech analyzed the problem and readily identified the faulty part and replaced it. The air conditioning was faultless for the remainder of the season. Because of this favorable experience I purchased a service plan. The technician came today for the preseason check up on the heating system. I am very happy with Royal Air Systems performance.

Back in late 2016 and early 2017 it became obvious that we would have to replace our entire heating system for our home. We called several companies for quotes and decided to go with Royal Air Systems, and we are so glad we did. While we worked with Royal to find the right system for our needs, we received service on our old and tired system from Nick Williams, who was absolutely fantastic! We now request him every time we need service because he is always timely and helpful - we know we can count on him. We decided not only to get a heating system but to upgrade and include HVAC and a built in humidifier. Royal knows their business and we have been very happy with our far more efficient system. What a great bunch of guys. I was literally a walk-in with some AC questions and needs and they bent over backwards to help me out. While I was waiting, the rest of the gang were holding a team meeting - they went through a number of jobs and discussed logistics, parts ordering strategy, managing customer expectations, problem solving etc. Very much on top of their game by making sure things go smoothly for everybody. Impressed by their professionalism!

Super impressed with the service techs from Royal. They were clear about what they were doing, upfront about cost, and were transparent and helpful throughout the process. After coming to service my heaters they replaced a pump and a motor on one of the units, but then discovered the heat exchanger had a crack after trying everything they could to find a cause for the lack of pressure gradient. They removed the pump and motor and didn't charge for it. Sadly I need a new unit (it was 20 years old, so not a shock), but I'd trust these guys with any HVAC project after my experience with them today. Highly recommend.

Here's why we are referring neighbors and family to Royal Air for mini-split AC system purchase and install:

1. A properly detailed quote tailored to our situation with "gray areas" identified as necessary. In our case it was possibility of an electric sub-panel....not needed in the end; and placement of an outside unit near gas line into the building. Our rep, Matt, has responded to every question & request quickly, completely and with the highest degree of professionalism.
2. Exemplary home-owner education during quote process. We understand how our systems will perform, annual maintenance (pros/con's of maintenance contract), how to minimize mildew build up in the equipment. Why set it and forget it is optimum, etc. Why the specific btu/config recommended for us.
3. THEY UNDERSTAND RESIDENTIAL INSTALLS ARE DIFFERENT THAN COMMERCIAL. From dealing with our condo approval process, to the use of drop cloths/shoes covers, their respect for our home was evident and greatly appreciated. Alex and Anthony were our install team; courteous, knowledgeable and super efficient. Very professional.
4. Post install responsiveness from our rep Matt.
5. You get what you pay for. Other Mitsubishi dealers quoted less but sketchy quotes and unprepared reps doing those quotes. Matt worked with us on financing and the price was fair.

We're looking forward to the end of season maintenance included as we expect that team to measure up to their installation colleagues.

One of the best experiences we've had with any tradesmen/major purchase in recent years.
