After we spoke with Mike further, he was able to confirm that the information regarding fees and emergency visits were not actually conveyed to us after all. He reduced the fee dramatically.
We do want to say that the technician, Ibrahim, did a fantastic job and was very kind and thoroughly explained the situation with the thermostat.

We are once again disappointed in Clarksville HVAC. We had an incident occur this week where our brand-new system was not cooling the house; instead, it was pumping out hot air, on an 80+ degree day.
We call Clarksville, they informed us that since we have their service agreement, they would go ahead and schedule an appointment ASAP and send a technician out for repairs.
Technician came out - a half hour after the appointment time was scheduled - and fairly quickly determined the issue was the Thermostat. We had Clarksville install a Nest thermostat rather than the basic thermostat that they were intending on installing with the expensive HVAC system.
They were kind enough to leave us with the testing thermostat they used, temporarily, so we could at least cool the house, until we got a new thermostat.
Then they proceeded to charge us an emergency diagnostic fee. What the heck?
First of all, we never received a copy of the service agreement, so we had no idea there were any fees associated with this. We thought it would have been a warranty repair.
Second, when scheduling the appointment, we were not informed of the fee up front NOR were we informed that the day and time THEY suggested was considered an emergency visit.
After talking to the owner of the company, Mike, he insisted that WE installed the thermostat and that HE told us it was not covered.
Not true. We literally asked them about it, and even discussed moving the thermostat to the hallway (their suggestion, not ours). We bared witness to their team installing it in the hallway. Never were we told any of this.
Their communication is absolutely atrocious.
At this point, I would NOT recommend this company any longer.

We had an interesting experience and I kind of sat on this review for a while.
We have an older home which had baseboard heating an A/C system only upstairs. There was zero duct work available.
Clarksville was one of the few companies that was willing to take on such a massive project. They would have to install duct work in an old '69 Split home. On top of that, they were able to charge a rather good price for everything involved with the second-best system (we didn't want the rolls Royce, so we settled for the Benz).
There were several hiccups along the way. The crew they used was slightly careless and a bit lazy. They accidentally let our dog out of the yard which was a train wreck. Found the dog down the street at the neighbor's house. Thank God we got one of those Fi collars that lets you put it into lost mode.
They also mis-calculated several things. We had to re-run our water pipes 3 times! And move our hot water heater. It was a nightmare. I got so mad I made them do it the third time.
They put duct work in a spot that blocked the ceiling. But they did fix it, quite nicely.
There was an incident where they accidentally knocked out the power to our bathroom. They came out and resolved the issues.
Overall, there were a couple of things, but they were very quick to resolve the issues, so I cannot complain or bash them for it.
Mike was very responsive although my wife was frustrated because we felt he didn't really want to talk to her. It was strange. But owell.
Overall, we've saved at least 80% on our electric due to this upgrade alone. It's insane. It was the best decision of our life.
I would absolutely recommend this company. They came through. Price was great. They even gave us 2 extra years of their maintenance to compensate for these issues.
Rey and Grant installed our new heating and AC unit today. They were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They were quick to come out and give us an estimate and we got on the install schedule quickly as well. They left the work area clean as well. We are very happy with their work and customer service. My house is already nice and cool!
Clarksville are real pros! Great communication. Did what they said the would, when they said they would. David just did a checkup on our new mini split, and he was involved with the install. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and inspires confidence that we made the right decision. Also I would like to give props to Ibrahim. He serviced our old heat pump and got us 20 percent more heat.

My technician Rey (Reynaldo) was very knowledgeable and did a though check of all the systems and I must say that he checked on multiple parameters and didn't rush through any of the steps, another thing that stood out was they use latest tools to aid their investigation and recommend solution based on the findings.. which I believe is important especially when you need to replace a part and you will know exactly what to change instead of guessing. Overall very impressed with their service and they have set the bar too high for their competition to match. Highly recommended.

He made sure to thoroughly look at all the units in the house and explained the problem to us very quickly. The whole process was quick and smooth, only taking about an hour. Great experience and would definitely recommend.
Grant, Rick, & Jaime removed our old fuel oil furnace and air conditioner; and installed a heat pump & ac. They worked steadily throughout the hot humid day. They wore covers over their work boots, and cleaned up afterwards. Prior to leaving, Grant went over the ac system & explained how it work & the needed maintenance. I would highly recommend Clarksville Heating & Air.

Despite the unfavorable weather, he still carried out the diagnosis and repair so we can have the air conditioner back for the hot and high humidity weather. We are very grateful for his quick response and service. He also explained very clearly about the issue and repairs. This picture shows the working condition when Saeid repairing our AC unit. I asked him to wait for the rain to stop. But he insisted to fix it first!
