    We are repeat customers. In every communication with us they have been unfailingly courteous and professional. We know that we can count on them in an emergency. They are above board. They always provide a receipt. If we have questions, they are glad to answer our questions and address our concerns.

    Most often, Mr. John Winters has been the technician to respond to our trouble calls. Courteous, knowledgeable, and professional, Mr. Winters on every occasion swiftly moved to diagnose the problem and correct it.

    His first trouble call for us was to work on our forced draft furnace. At that time he discovered that wasps had taken up residence in the flue pipe and in the furnace itself. In addition to informing us he took steps to mitigate their possible movement from the furnace into the house in order to protect us. We had to get an exterminator. After the wasps were removed a part had to be ordered and afterwards the furnace was made operational.

    He replaced a thermostat for us.

    His most recent trouble call was to address our A/C. We have a Home Warranty Insurance plan. The insurance company, inflexibly, chooses the contractor who will respond. That guy and his helper looked at our system then tried to offload an entire HVAC system that he happened to have to the tune of $2500 and then later $2750. Numerous misrepresentations were made to us. We got so frustrated with our Home Warranty Insurance and their contractor that we called Gateway to come and look at our system. Mr. John Winters thoroughly examined our HVAC. He diagnosed that a bad capacitor is what stopped our A/C from running, which he replaced. We were also advised about other system checkpoints and how Gateway Heating & Cooling might address them. This was around a $260 troubleshoot and our issue was speedily resolved.

    We hope we don't have any problems but if we do we are confident Gateway Heating & Cooling can address them.

    A friend recommended them after they did a great job for her. I called and made an appt for 2 days later but they were able to come out the next day. Never have had a HVAC experience be SO quick and easy. John was able diagnose it really fast and had it fixed in less than 30min. It was a blown transformer in the inside unit. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Prices are affordable as well. I couldn’t have asked for better service! Will be recommending them to my friends and family. Thx again Gateway Heating & Cooling for being awesome and getting my heat fixed before this ice storm hits! 💖

    Charged 246.50 to replace capacitor, seems way too expensive and several people have told me it was. Many people have told me the basic cost of capacitor should have been 30 bucks. However they did come next day after calling and did seem to fix the unit. Chris Skaggs was polite and seemed professional, but I was concerned about his abilities.
