Buyer beware.

We opted to buy local because the owner was very informative and supportive throughout the purchasing process. He was very good at answering our questions and made us feel confident in our purchase.

We purchased mini split DIY kit which cost around $1,600. The installation was seemingly painless and the unit worked well for two weeks!

But then the unit stopped working. We called HVAC Outlet and they were unwilling to address our concerns, pointing us directly to the manufacturer. They were unwilling to assist with troubleshooting or to provide us with a service call in an effort to assist (which we were willing to pay for).

One of the benefits of buying locally is local support but this company is lacking that.
