Our neighborhood is full of 20 year old homes, and during the first hot week of the summer, like many others in our area, the AC went out. We called several contractors and were offered 3-5 day wait times for estimates alone. I called John at Home Comfort Heating and Cooling and he made time to come see us afterhours only shortly after talking.

John was very professional, and offered service options to meet various price or timeline targets. He even offered to jury-rig our 21 year old system to get air moving again immediately. In the end, we decided on a new outdoor unit and evaporator coil, and John was able to install them for us the very next day.

All told, it's been just over 24 hours since initially calling Home Comfort Heating and Cooling, I have a brand new system (and at a fair price), and my house is already cool. Can't beat that. Thanks John!

My AC went out on Friday, I called my home warranty company and they had no technicians available until Monday when I would get a call for a time to set up to fix my air. The temperature this weekend is 94° it was the same temperature in my house on Saturday. I called John and he said he could be here in 30 minutes and he was. We were in a pinch when our 30 year old AC unit went out us on the first weekend of summer. We called one of the bigger companies in town and while they were prompt and did provide good service, we felt the price was a bit high so we wanted a second opinion. John and Home Comfort was recommended to us. We called him and he immediately adjusted his schedule to stop by and see us that evening. He gave us an estimate that was much lower than our original and also worked with us to make sure that we could comfortably finance it. He installed it promptly and quickly the next day.

But they needed to be replaced before they failed. We searched for a family owned business carefully, based on positive past experiences with similar businesses. Then we found John Field's business. John is a pleasant man. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and down-to-earth. He sat at our kitchen table, spread out several brochures, and went over all of our options with us slowly and methodically,. He answered all our many questions to our satisfaction. As it turned out, John's recommendations dovetailed with our previous selections based on our own due diligence. The selected American Standard furnace and air conditioner, as well as the top-of-the line Rheem 50 gallon water heater were installed within 1-1/2 days. We made the right choice. We strongly recommend John to anyone that needs honest, no nonsense work ethic, top drawer installation and a very reasonable price. John beat out other local Lenexa competition hands down. John has serviced our HVAC system twice. He was able to come to our house the same day we called each time when other companies were weeks out.
We had to have our blower motor replaced in our system which is older. John had the part in his truck and replaced the unit in under an hour. Had it not been for John, we would have been sweating it out over at least a weekend during this 90+* heat wave. I would highly recommend calling John for any HVAC needs.
