Colony Heating and Air Conditioning

So glad there’s such an amazing company in Cedar Rapids to handle complete changeout of furnace and AC units. My comfort consultant Matt helped me so professionally with my needs and concerns, and knew what to recommend for my home. Colony got my scheduled for the changeout very quickly, which is good when a person has health issues. Lorenzo and Connor completed the installation today, and it’s nice to have great working AC after limping an old 26 year old unit along. The 2 mentioned techs that did the install are so courteous, knowledgeable and kind. They took great pride in their work and were so careful not to make a mess in my home or the yard and cleaned up all traces of the old unit before they left. I chose Colony because a good friend had them do a complete changeout in their home 3 years ago. Colony is close to my home, and has a good service and repair staff should that need arise in the future. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone!

Arrived shortly after our call. Extremely knowledgeable and professional. A very pleasant experience given the fact that our house was freezing cold. Not anymore!

Service people always very friendly. Explain what they've found if anything. This time around mentioned the glass over the gas fireplace had moisture and some spots where it ran down the glass. The serviceman told me he would clean it today for me while he was here to check my air conditioning.

Amazing job!!! I love my fireplace already, now just to get the wall and borders of it done. They were quick, clean, professional and very kind. They also found a huge issue that I needed to tend to on my new place and I'm so glad they took the time to tell me about it so I could get it fixed. Awesome service and awesome company 🙂👍. Two colony employees ran a gas line for new dryer installation, very professional and quick to complete task. Cleaned up after themselves. They explained what they did and what I needed to do. Great job

Fireplace cleaning and maintenance. Service was great and tech was knowledgeable and very helpful on instruction on getting a new shut off key. Very thankful to have our fireplace functioning again after a couple of years non functioning. Tech also friendly

Alex called in advance and came at the date and time promised. He communicated what was needed and what he had done, including the price of repair, at the conclusion of his inspection. He cleaned up after himself and was kind and courteous.

We contracted with Colony for a new bathroom installation in our basement. We installed a stool, shower and sink.
We were given an estimate for parts/labor as well as fixtures from Plumb Supply which was reasonable.

While the plumber was installing water lines and drain pipes, we asked if he could move one existing drain pipe that went across the ceiling of the soon to be new bathroom, without hesitation, he was able to move it so that we could have a nicely finished ceiling.

We have been incredibly pleased with the level of service, professionalism and attention to detail and would highly recommend them.

Thrilled I got a same day appointment at the start of a stretch of very hot days to get my a/c repaired. Repaired quickly and technician was polite and knowledgeable!
