Godby Heating Plumbing Electrical

Godby replaced my 20+ year old furnace and A/C with new and efficient Trane components, along with a smart thermostat. From sales consultant Duwayne to installers Joe and Luke, everyone was pleasant to interact with. We ran into a small problem during the installation which could not have been foreseen, but it was resolved quickly to my satisfaction. The new system has only been running for about an hour, but I have high hopes.

Excellent customer service when I called and spoke with Stephanie. I was a first time customer and received same day service for a furnace that would not fire up. Technician, Tyree, arrived before the estimated service window and was professional, clean, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Our HVAC system was ailing and Godby did a fantastic job from top to bottom. They diagnosed that it needed to be replaced (not repaired), were clear about our options in terms of size / SEER, and were generally excellent in terms of customer service. Their price was more than reasonable - actually the lowest bid we received on the job. Install was professional, quick, thoughtful with regards to our family's space and time. The unit works incredibly well, and the follow-up customer service has been excellent as well. Highly recommend Godby.

Are water heater had been leaking. After a very detailed diagnosis of our problem and telling us what we needed to do to fix it. Gary and Jay both did a excellent job installing a expansion tank.

Kenny is great. Extremely disappointed I had to pay $75 more for a trip charge since the replacement piece wasn't on the truck originally. Doesn't make since to me.

I had a very basic sercie call of replacing a 100A main breaker. I told them what I needed when we set up the service call. The work and customer service was fine. The final price was double what it should have been. Over $400 for less than an hour job and a $70 msrp breaker. Crazy high priced! I had to cancel the rest of my work with this company just due to their prices. Another local electrical company finished the rest of the work for much more respectable prices.

The girls in the office that scheduled the service were so friendly and helpful! The guys that came out to install our lights went to Lowes for us to pick up light blubs because we forgot to get them prior to them coming. They were very friendly and very quick! I would definitely use Godby again and refer their services to anyone looking.

Kenny did a thorough job of repairing our system. Left the areas he worked in clean. Discussed the repairs with possible future things to watch out for after he was done.

We have been a customer of Godby for probably over 10 years. We are on their Club Godby. I'll say they have very good service however, I called to have them look at a couple of things. There is a $99 service call which is fine. We needed a frost free outside spigot repaired and Gary the technician (who has been here before and is a nice guy) gave me the estimate to replace one outside faucet (spigot) and I was shocked. I expected it to be over $200.? but it was over $400. Labor is over $200 per hour. I told Gary to forget it and paid the $99 call fee. We will be looking for another HVAC and plumbing company. BTW, the 3 stars were for their service. If I had to give a star rating on pricing, it would be a one.
