Godby Heating Plumbing Electrical

Tyree, our technician, was polite, knowledgeable, and informative regarding our air conditioning unit. He didn't push but recommended what should be done. I definitely appreciate that.

Kenny and Deacon’s work was meticulous. They are knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. They replaced our water heater and humidifier. The work area was left clean. We are extremely satisfied and would use Godby again.

Their electricians completed some work for us and said they called AES out before 12:30 to come turn the power back on within 1 to 3 hours. After we sit there the entire afternoon with no electricity, their electrician tells us that their office just called and AES will be out in up to 3 hours. This was at 5pm! The electrician leaves and I decide to call AES to find out what is going on. They tell me that Godby didn't call them out until 4:45! AES was out with 30 minutes after I called them. I spoke to the service manager, who was pretty unhelpful, and she just said she personally called AES earlier in the day. Could it have been miscommunication? Not sure. The electricians were very kind and knowledgeable, management not so much. Beware if you need them to contact AES for you. Probably want to follow-up on your own. Made me waste half a day and then just left before the power company was there to verify the work was correct and up to code. Started off as a great experience, but finished very poorly. Do your research as their are lots of options out there.

Godly has installed a water heater, water softener and has maintained and done repairs on my HVAC. Everyone there have been great to work with and really happy with the work.

Kenny came out to our house yesterday and was able to get our A/C unit stood up on it's last legs for the rest of the summer. He helped me avoid what could have been a $1200+ repair. He spent nearly all day at our home getting the problem solved, Godby waived the labor and refunded me for an unnecessary A/C recharge I had received from another technician two months prior. Kenny also was able to seal up the vent where the previous homeowner had a humidifier that was no longer functional when we purchased the house. Stephanie was also great with making sure everything got scheduled and that my concerns were addressed. Happy to have a habitable home for the first time this summer. :)

Godby has Lexi she is a professional in customer relations & Tyree knows HVAC units. Both were invaluable to me when I was told by another company I dealt with for 8 years along with rest of my family my unit needs a new heat exchanger - my unit is only 8 yrs old they did the install. Needless to say I will no longer be using them. Godby is my new maintenance HVAC company. I am very pleased.
I will be using them for electrical also.

Customer service reps are amazing ladies and got me scheduled very quickly for our regular maintenance. When our furnace completely stopped working had a rep out in just a few short hours. He was very knowledgeable, kind, respectful, and honest on things he would recommend. Would recommend them to anyone.

This company is total scam! We were coerced into paying 200 dollars for NOT removing the scale in our water heater.
We contacted them for scale removal because our water heater was making loud noises and they said they could fix it but when they arrived we were told there’s nothing they can do because “the noise totally normal” and lime scale cannot be removed, but since they are already here we still have to pay the 200 dollars we “agreed upon”.
As a immigrant family who just moved to the United States we feel totally taken advantage of. What we agreed to pay for was a scale removal service but this whole situation just turned out to be a scam. We have given all the information to them beforehand, if it is clear that it couldn’t be done in the first place then they should have told us instead of coming here and ask us to pay for something they didn’t do.

I have worked with Godby HPE for quite a while and had them out again today for my furnace and ac inspection. All is well, not upselling and very courteous and professional. Will continue to use Godby for all my heating/cooling, plumbing and electrical services.

Adam was great. He was knowledgeable and identified the problems quickly and repaired them timely. I have always had a good experience with Godby as it relates to their HVAC work and Adam was no exception!
