Godby Heating Plumbing Electrical

Just had some HVAC work performed by Godby. We have always recieved good service from them but the last call to address some zone issues was top of the line. Now a days I almost expect poor service and am surprised when I get good service but their technician Kenny McCorkhill delivered top line service. He took the time to understand our issue and then spent a long time understanding our AC system. I thought we would need an second unit (and a lot of companies would have said "why yes you do" and sold me a second unit.) After completely examining the system he came up with a plan to rework some damper controls and upgrade some duct work. Nice hire Godby.

My water heater died on a Monday morning. I called Godby and Stephanie got me set up with an appointment for the very next day! My service reps arrived on time and were very friendly and professional - they explained the replacement process to me carefully and completed the work quickly and efficiently. I am happy with the service I received and would recommend the company to others.

Kenny and Tyree were very friendly and professional. They efficiently figured out my problem with my AC running nonstop. There was a wire issue and they were able to fix it easily. I highly recommend them. I will definitely call Godby again for heating and plumbing issues.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Fantastic experience in an emergency situation! I called Godby out due to a failed sump pump. They were busy and not sure if they could accommodate me. They left the decision to their plumber, Will. Will called me from another job and asked me to troubleshoot over the phone to no avail. He knew there was bad weather coming and added a couple of hours to an already long day. He called me en route and showed on time. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and worked with a sense of urgency. He took the time to explain the new system as well as the Godby membership, which I will be signing up for. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience, company, or technician! Highly recommend!

The installer of our AC coil was very professional and courteous and had our comfort as his main concern. The office was very helpful in working with us to uncover our warranty coverage on the part. The only negative was that the wrong part was initially ordered but the service department worked to make sure we had the new, correct coil installed as soon as it came in. We really appreciated that since we were having a party the next day and needed to definitely have air conditioning. Would definitely recommend Godby Heating and Plumbing.

Serviced heat pump and replaced capacitor. Stephanie in the office was quite courteous, all over it and so promptly effective. Adam the tech was likewise absolutely great to work with, a total pro, really knew his stuff and completed it right on the spot to my 100% satisfaction.

We have used Godby more than a couple times since purchasing our house years ago. All of their work (only minimal plumbing and lots of electrical) has been great.

Godby recently performed our seasonal maintenance and installed a humidifier. The tech was wonderful! He explained what he would be doing, approx. how long he thought it might take, and worked diligently until it was up and running. I trust Godby and have been a customer for at least 9 years.

Great communication before and during service. Competent technicians who take time to explain their analysis/diagnostics in terms anyone can understand. First time used by me personally - will not hesitate to use them again after this trust building visit.

My furnace stopped working on one of the coldest days we've had yet this winter, and Dan Adams came to my rescue! :-) He called me ~30 min. prior to his arrival which I greatly appreciated. Dan turned out to be one of the most courteous, knowledgeable, and honest technicians that I've ever had the pleasure of working with! He replaced the igniter promptly after checking over the entire furnace, and my house is no longer an icebox. Would definitely recommend Godby. Office staff was also very professional and courteous.
