    We were sent a 160 dollar bill and the plumbers never even touched our sink. The plumbers walked into my kitchen, I explained to them the problem and they said we don't do it unless you want to risk cracking your counter. Then they left and sent a bill.
    Update: I was contacted by a representative of J.E. Shekell, Inc. and will say that this company has integrity and handled the situation with care and professionalism.
    The representative assured me that this incident was not a reflection of the company's standard policies and is implementing new training practices for its employees.
    For me this meant a lot. I want to invest my money in a company who believes in integrity and believe me, I have come across a business or two who cares nothing about customer service and the way they treat you.
    J.E. Shekell gets a thumbs up in my review, and we will continue to utilize their services in the future.

    I'm very pleased. He gave me a curtesy call when he was on his way and was on time. He was very respectful to me and my property. He explained everything he was doing and gave me information on a protection plan they offer. Great experience.

    We have been using JE Shekell for over 18 years and they do a good job. Their technicians are always courteous, answer any questions honestly, and take care of our home as if it were their own. Their billing is hard to follow and getting questions answered from office managers can be a challenge.

    Although it was a bit discouraging as stated above, less than 24 hours after I posted the above review, I was contacted and asked many questions about my issues. I raised my rating to 4 stars because it was nice to know that these comments do not go unnoticed and JE Shekell really does want 100% satisfaction. Thanks for listening Tessa.

    Blaine was my tech for my fall maintenance and also to replace a capacitor. He called before his arrival, was on time and very courteous! He performed the maintenance and repairs and explained everything and tested everything in a timely manner! Very pleased with JE Shekell and Blaine!

    Buyer beware!!! Not only do they mark up parts 2-3x the price but also have very poor upper management that leads to poor technical support. Secretaries mislead times and don’t know the work. They have a 99$ diagnostic charge and a hidden 122$ charge after diagnostic has been preformed along with a 10$ surcharge for gas that no one is ever made aware of. I understand a markup is necessary but when you take a 30$ cap and sell them for nearly 200$, 120$ motor became nearly 600$ without labor included. 75$ per pound of r410 when you can buy a 25 lb tank for less then 500$. Air filters can be bought in packs of 4 online for the same price as 1 filter from them. Price gouging in this economy is hideous and absolutely refuse to do business with them again.
