I'm a brand new homeowners and was horrified when after turning on the AC for the first time two weeks after move in, water leaked into the first floor ceiling causing damage to the walls and ceiling. We called 5 star and they were quick to get us on the schedule despite a quarantine and a busy workload at the start of a season. Quincy was dispatched to the house, and he was not only professional, he helped me to understand the issue, explained the fix he was doing, and helped get everything in working order. He was quick and thorough, checked everything twice, and he gave overall outstanding service. 5 star has earned a lifetime customer because of his service, and this excellent experience. Thank you for getting everything up and running as it should!

Very impressed from first sales call to installation to follow up servicing. They are responsive, solution oriented (versus trying to sell you an oversized unit), prompt, clean and friendly. The communication is top notch including pictures of the techs. Installers wear masks and shoe coverings and the installation only took 4 hours. Pricing is very fair. So far (it has only been 4 days), I am very pleased and happy with my new unit and Five Star.

I recently purchased a new home in Hoffman Estates and wanted to have peace of mind, knowing that my heating furnace and air conditioner would be new and serve me for many years to come. From the initial consultation with Bill Stuhr who competently figured out what would work best for me, to the very professional installation and trim work of Dave Collins and team, and to the follow up and inspection and explanation on how everything works by Dave Devyak, everything went smoothly and I couldn't be happier with my new Trane system. Five Star's price was great also. I feel confident that if and when any issues ever arrive, Five Star will be there to see that they are resolved. I highly recommend their business.

Furnace down Christmas Eve morning. Fixed by 9:30. Called at 5 am leaving message. Wish answering machine would have noted call backs would not be until 8 am. Almost called another vendor for emergency service although I was contacted about 7:30 in response to my repeated messages.

I can’t say enough about the team at Five Star. Amazing and reliable service every time! I needed some last minute duct work done. Bill kindly fit me in to the schedule. Adam came out and was courteous and diligent, knew just what needed to happen, and completed the job faster than expected. Thank you Five Star for being there for me and going above and beyond.

I've been using Five Star for about five years and continue to be impressed. I thrust them, they do excellent work, and their service professionals are friendly. What prompted this review is that while being quite sure I needed a new AC, Dave and Adam who came to install a new AC told me that my current AC could be repaired and I didn't need a new one. They saved me $4K. This company's integrity and honesty is why I'll continue to use 5 Star as long as I live in the area.

Five Star Heating and Air-Conditioning did a complete install on a new HVAC unit in my older home. This home needed heating and cooling ducted into two small bedrooms that had only return vents. This was the first time central air conditioning was used in this home. Bill did an estimate and constructed a plan. He even made sure to add an extra vent in the laundry room to ensure an even temperature throughout the home, and protect the water lines as they are on an outside wall with possible risk of freezing in the winters.

The crew used some existing ducting, and added custom pieces where needed. They were fairly quick considering all the work that was done-This was done in about a day and a half. The tear down and install crew Mike and Miguel were great! Miguel has an eye for perfection, and pays attention to making the customer happy, he is also very efficient! Mike is a solid worker, and works efficiently also!

A final inspection crew came out to do some finishing adjustments on the furnace and ducting that really made the whole system seem to function very nicely! Dave is and extremely knowledgeable, caring individual, who has a quick attention to detail, who in my opinion made this experience great!

I’d recommend five star heating and air conditioning to family and friends for any of their furnace or AC needs. This company can work with many unique situations, just like my old house! They even finance, so anytime is a good time to be comfortable!

Fantastic service and pricing! We had a good experience with the initial sales rep. He was honest and didn't push anything we didn't need. Dave and Adam installed our air conditioning unit. They were, also, excellent! They were professional, timely, knowledgeable and very nice. We will definitely use them again. I would highly recommend Five Star Heating.
