I could not get a straight answer for an estimate. I needed a basic freon recharge and was quoted the price for their annual membership instead. I finally talked to the technician who gave me the cost of the job which was on top of the membership price that I was sold by the main office.

Our heater is not working, so I called the main number around lunch time. I was told that a technician could fix our heater same-day, and that someone would reach out within the next 90 minutes. After 2.5 hours with no contact, I called again and was told that I was still scheduled for a visit that day, and that a note would be made on my account indicating that I expected a call back ASAP. No one ever called, and we ended up spending a very cold night in a house with no heat.

This was my first time using Duncan Heating & Air Conditioning Co. and I don’t think I’ll ever seek AC services elsewhere. Their response for an estimate was very prompt and I was amazed that fixing AC can be that cheap. Everything was handled very professionally and efficiently. top notch

Dan is unprecedented! I called him to fix a leaking tub and he noticed safety problems with the tub faucet that could hurt my one year old. He fixed the problem on the spot. He was expeditious, respectful, competent, and very trustworthy. Proudly recommended!!

Long story short. I called them because the furnace was not working. It was making a humming noise and not producing heat. Pipes could freeze. They came me twice in one week. Both times they charged me, for a total of $900. The only thing they did was replace a working modern wifi thermostat for a chap analog one. They told me the problem was fixed and insisted the charge included an inspection. Yet the original problem I called for is still there. Then they sent a quote for $1,200 for future work that will supposedly fix the problem. For a moment I though they just had a bad day but they insisted this work is of high quality "as always".
