Chose American Weathermakers to install our replacement furnace, humidifier, and air conditioner. Jose and his assistant completed the installation efficiently, and told us everything we needed to know about our new system. We are enjoying our new systems.

I had a very positive experience using American Weathermakers! I had a new heater and AC unit both installed in my condo. Throughout the process, I really felt that the company, especially Josh Anderson, truly listened to our needs, questions and concerns and gave a great quote, tons of technical support and helped to get us to a great outcome. Every other repair person and technician we spoke to was also kind, patient and generous with their time.

We'd gotten a quote already so when our heater flat out died in the middle of the winter they were able to have an install team out the very next day which was a life saver. We had the system operating that day. There were some small issues with the install but Josh came out fairly quickly, helped resolve issues, spent a good deal of time customizing the system to our needs and teaching best practices and technical details that will help us operate the HVAC system to it's highest potential so we felt it more than made up for a couple small bumps in the install.

I would recommend American Weathermakers to anyone in the Chicagoland area that needs HVAC work done and if you're getting new equipment I would especially recommend working with Josh Anderson.

I called American Weathermakers Inc. for emergency repair service late on the Friday before Christmas 2022 weekend, after waiting 1.5 hours for a different plumbing service to call me back. Good thing I did, because the emergency service on-call rep for the other plumbing service never did contact me. American Weathermakers Inc.'s service professional got back to me within 45 minutes of my reaching out and was at my house 30 minutes later. He repaired the broken furnace drain line in 5 minutes, which meant I was able to head out of town as planned to spend time with my family for Christmas! When the other plumbing service finally called me back (on Tuesday AFTER Christmas--keep in mind I had requested emergency service 5 days earlier), I told them I would never use them again due to their lack of responsiveness, and that I was giving my business to American Weathermakers for all my HVAC needs because they were responsive, prompt, courteous, and efficient!

John is very knowledgeable had the source of the problem in minutes and corrected the Matter He is truly a professioal, courteous and a pleaseure tjo work with. I will request him again in the future.

Service was 100% professional and efficient. So glad I found this company! l Will definitely hire them for regular maintenance and cleaning and any other HVAC needs.

My furnace stopped working during a cold snap. It needed a new on/off switch. A repair man came out the same day and had it repaired quickly. Very professional and helpful.

Our furnace went haywire at 9pm on a Sunday night. Spoke with a receptionist who was calm and warm, quickly connected me with a tech named Frank who was able to ask the right questions to help pinpoint best potential next steps all while reassuring me of our safety with what may be going on. Had the honesty and integrity to advise us to wait for a next morning service call in order to save us a couple hundred dollars out the gate, which I appreciated. Corey was our tech on call the next morning. He cleaned relevant parts of the furnace and was able to quickly pinpoint the diagnostics and get on the phone to locate the necessary parts and timeline for possible repair. Laid out our options honestly and while he could have pushed for temporary patch fixes for another $300 until the official part was available, he worked hard to make the right calls to get the part we needed in his hand within hours. Corey made thorough work of the repair, checked for various diagnostics to ensure the furnace was not only repaired but also running both cycles as intended, AND answered dozens of my questions, provide excellent and transparent customer education. When the furnace had a hiccup as he was showing me another unrelated aspect of its functioning, he paused to clean things up and make it right. Great integrity and professionalism. Couldn’t have been a better experience ending to a stressful situation.

We have used American Weathermakers at three homes, including a complete installation at our last house. Just had them in to do maintenance at our new house. Jeff was friendly, punctuation and professional. He advised us on routine maintenance, and products to use, including how to not break the bank. Highly recommend the company.

We’ve used American Weathermakers for many years to maintain our heating, air conditioning. And even water heater. They have always been prompt and done a great job, even with me pestering them while they tried to work.

Our furnace failed on a Sunday night with temps heading well below freezing. Jeff Taraszka called me back within minutes after I got off the phone with the dispatcher and was at our door in about 30 minutes. He diagnosed and fixed the problem and we had heat again way sooner than we expected. Very knowledgeable and happy to explain every aspect of the process. Jeff really impressed us. We now have a new HVAC company.
