I'm left with a terrible vibration and Doug Hoekstra refuses to make a vibration collar to separate the plenum from the joists. Bad judgement on their part to directly connect this furnace to my structure. I've been told to change the supports and a few other things that make no sense and I did to no avail. I separated the connection and my vibration is almost completely gone. They refuse to accommodate any further adjustments. Most specifically the one that is needed.
If you need a custom install... something a little unique, odds are you will be disappointed with their service.
I spent 14,000+ on this install and this is where it ends...
Steve- I have discussed your installation with the owner. Our position is that we have completed the work we were hired to do. We thank you for your business.
Not even an option to pay additional for the correction. They are just not interested in correcting the problem. Not even at my expense.
Just keep it simple or you might not be happy.

Jake used advanced troubleshooting skills to resolve the issue with our Carrier Furnace. The 2nd heat exchange unit failure caused multiple error conditioned that needed resolution to keep the unit running until properly prepared. This was especially important because it was in January. The follow up repair with James was equally professional, efficient with no unforeseen issues. As a result of this great service I will be signing up for annual maintenance. Thank you.
Brian was the sweetest man to work with! He came out on a Sunday when our heat went out. He was prompt, friendly and so professional. We enjoyed talking with him. He walked us through what the issue was and waited to make sure it was appropriately working before leaving. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made us all feel comfortable. Would love to use him again!
Nate did a very thorough cleaning of my air conditioner getting all those fuzzy white tree seeds out of my air conditioner. Great job! Well worth the money!
The best. Reliable, dependable, easily the only company we call for heating and A/C needs. They keep our information on file so they know our equipment better than we do. And it’s reassuring to see the same technicians over the years. I wish we had this kind of great experience with more home maintenance and improvement companies.
John Hall is very excellent and professional on stating any problems or issues and explaining them very well . Very knowledgeable and had great performance helping us . He throughly walked us through all the work that had to be done and we very very pleased with the outcome . He’s the one to talk to if you need anything !
I've used them for the past three years. At first there were some issues with them not showing for appointments, then it improved. However just last December I scheduled air conditioner maintenance for May. They called and insisted it be done sooner the May 12, or it wouldn't be until August. So, I took the appointment, but again, scheduled from 12to 3 with a call 20 minutes before. I had to call their office at 2:30 to see if they were coming. Finally got a call from service tech at 2:55 stating it would be at least another 30 minutes. I'm done waiting and being stood up and being bullied into changing an appointment made well in advance.
Let me start off by saying from the moment I reached out to Hoekstra HVAC, I have had a pleasant welcoming experience from every individual there. My installation Tech Chris was great. I had a new furnace installed after finding out that the one I had was on its last leg. Very clean and organized, left my downstairs in the same condition that it was when he came in. Work was done in the timeframe given. Chris also took his time to install a new power outlet for my condensate pump, as I was previously running an extension cord across the room, and mounted the pump instead of having it on the floor. He clearly explained how the new unit worked and answered all my questions. I’m very satisfied, and will continue to use Hoekstra for both their customer service and quality of work.
