Great experience with Browns Heating and Cooling. I am a landlord living out of state, and I have used them for problems with both the furnace as well as hot water heater at my unit in Chicago. Our technician was Mike - he was courteous, prompt, and kept me in the loop on the issues he was finding, being sure to quote me the cost and get my approval before moving forward with the repairs. Browns does reliable, honest work, for a reasonable price.

Wow what a great experience! This team was quick to respond and show up for the work. The technician was thorough and explained all the options for me and the difference costs involved so I could best decide the path forward. He answered all my questions and was so professional and wonderful. I am so happy with the ease of the whole process (getting a quote, scheduling the work, completing the work, payment etc), how honest and professional this company was and the stellar job they did. I will recommend and use these guys again in a heartbeat. Thank you!!

A+ service from these guys!! After a week without AC and many different providers giving very different diagnoses of my issue, I contacted Browns and they were able to come out same day, within the hour!! Ramon was very helpful and explained my issue in very clear terms, and walked me through the steps to take to remediate it. He was able to do a repair on the spot and in very little time. He also was so helpful in talking to my Home Warranty company so that I could get reimbursed for the repairs. He also helped reattached a vent register that I had left off for months because I over drilled pilot holes. Above and beyond only begins to describe their service!! It can be hard to find honest, reliable, and communicative service providers and they are it. I am telling everyone I know to use them, so if you’re reading this review, you should too!

Was out of town when we found out from our son that our AC was not working - of course during some of the hottest days this summer. Called Browns (never used them before) and was glad I did. They were able to come out on a Saturday when my son was off work. They called me to see if they could come earlier as their schedule permitted that, but stated they were fine if not. They did come earlier, called me several times to report the issues and discussed repairs, discounts and service contract info - saved a lot when I signed up for yearly maintenance and glad I did. My son also stated they were very personable, friendly and professional -would highly recommend!!!

My AC was not cooling as well as it should. I called another company who began pricing me on a new AC unit without even checking mine out. BUT when I called Browns, not only did they arrive the same day and on time, but the technician thoroughly assessed the issue, and gave me 3 options. Replacement was one of them. He was extremely personable and open and honest about the longevity of each option. In times where there are so many shady trades people, it's so nice to have a person who knows what they are doing perform quality work at a fair price. I will definitely be using Browns again and will be referring them to others for heating and cooling needs.

I had a failing inducer motor on a 12 year old furnace and decided to fully replace the unit after Ramod came and diagnosed it. He was familiar with my unit and a lawsuit related to the manufacturer that offered a potential rebate on my replacement; he went above and beyond, checking CO levels and corrosion. He was honest about my options without trying to upsell me. The installers were professional, careful, and cleaned up after their work. The total cost for the Bryant 2-stage 80k BTU install including the parts, labor, and initial service visit was $5375. Much better experience than previous HVAC companies I have hired.

Ramod made sure he made it to my apartment building on one of the coldest night and repaired my boiler at nearly 8pm! He's professional, made some recommendation, priced fairly & is highly recommended.

Best of the best! I called Brown’s Heating and Cooling after the company which had been performing my maintenance since 2014 “fixed” the issue with my AC not blowing cold air and the problem recurring after 24 hours following the fix. Due to my loyalty and experience with that company, I was very hesitant to switch and called several companies after doing some research. What made Brown’s stand out amongst the rest was their prompt and professional response. Ramod was in the area and able to come assess the problem right away! Turns out I had a huge leak and that’s why the “fix” from the prior company didn’t work. Ramod ran down the possible solutions and I opted to replace the unit. I received a formal invoice via email to sign and review and was able to choose the unit. The installation went smooth and the crew was very respectful of my home and just all around friendly and professional! The price was very reasonable for the amount of work (install on the roof) and Ramod gave me pointers and information on how to keep the system up to date and a maintenance schedule. I also appreciated that I could support a black owned business. I would highly recommend them for your HVAC needs, no need for you to look anywhere else!

This company is great. They were professional, educated about the systems, on time and diligent. They also cleaned up after they were finished. The best part is that their prices are competitive!! Excellent, I can't say enough about how great this company is.

Browns Heating & Cooling is a very good and reliable company to have in your corner when needed. We have used their service on several different occasions from installing a new A/C system to replacing the coil on an old system. On each occasion we were provided thorough explanation of the issues, resolution options, and cost. I highly recommend this company. You will get honest work with no scams.
