Stay away!!! 0 star not just a 1 star!!! The worst service that I’ve received from a company. I’ve found them on google and contacted them due to their good reviews. Don’t be fooled. There’s no following through on a job. They just want to take your money to come out and you’ll never hear from them again. Found another company with prompt service and get the job done right away!

We had to get our central heating and cooling separated for our two units - this requires installing new ductwork and getting a new furnace and roof top ac unit. We got another contractor to come out and give us a quote. Marcus was able to give us a quote that was half the price of the other. This was because Marcus was very detailed when walking through our house to look at our current HVAC system - he took notes, pictures, and planned out the project. because of this he was able to find ways to still use parts of our existing system rather than rip it all out. Matt and Marcus were very transparent and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied customers. The installation went smooth and they were able to complete the project quickly. I will definitely be using them again!

Always a pleasure to find a trustworthy and professional business. Matt is extremely helpful and his employees are top notch. I have used them for my own home and a couple rental properties I have. I am always pleased. Matt is patient and takes the time to explain any work that needs to be done any options available. Pleasure to do business with and a really nice guy!

Matt is awesome. Be honest and up front with him from the start, tell him your needs and budget, and he will work with you. He will give you the best options pending your particular situation. I highly recommend him and his company, because he did a great job on our AC/heater and has been great with respect to follow-up services.

My air conditioning failed and it was 88 degrees in my home. My two small kids and wife were not happy. Contacted Matt based on the online reviews of prior happy customers. Matt came over the next day and diagnosed the problem immediately. Went over the problem with me, explained how my system worked and what I needed to do in the future to keep everything running great, so I could easily understand -- he had the piece needed in his work van, efficiently repaired and replaced and all at a very reasonable cost. It was working like a dream ever since and my wife and kids are very happy. Matt is a very nice guy, too! Loves his work and meeting with customers. Thank you, Matt!!!

So professional, knowledgeable and friendly! I thought because my husband didn't make the appointment, that I would for sure feel a bit uneasy as in the past that was my experience with other companies. So not the case! Matt was extremely friendly and helpful. We had another guy out who had no idea what he was doing and did not fix the problem. Matt was here less than an hour and his rates were reasonable.

Reached out to Chicago Heating and Cooling back in July of 2021 looking to replace the blower in my two pipe vertical fan coil system. I received a one sentence e-mail from Matthew in return saying it wasn't possible to replace a blower motor with something bigger/better. I have no experience with these types of systems so I responded and asked if there was anything that could be done to improve the system and I received no reply.

I reached out to a few other HVAC companies in the area and got much more professional and helpful responses. One company came out and quoted replacing the entire vertical fan coil system. Another came out and quoted gutting the existing cabinet and retrofitting a new system. Both companies made several suggestions as to how to improve the efficiency of the system outside of just replacing the vertical fan coil unit.

What CH&C said was impossible turned out to be very possible. We had our 30+ year system replaced with something new, more efficient, and 300CFM more powerful. If you're in a high-rise and looking for HVAC contractors, I'd look elsewhere.

Matt is a true professional. He cares about his customers, his business and maybe most importantly about doing quality work at a fair price. Matt's efficient, responsive, and will take good care of you. He doesn't mind questions and will take the time to answer yours. If you want someone who will do good work at a fair price and not simply tell you your unit needs to be replaced......Matts your guy.

I had the amazing pleasure working with this company this May when my A/C unexpectedly broke! Last year, I had one of their techs, Marcus, came out and assessed my A/C which stopped blowing cool air, and he thoroughly looked through my entire unit and gauged every scenario that could have happened and found it was a Freon leak. He sealed my unit shut, and it worked perfectly!!!! He was SO professional, explained everything super well so I understood (I have NO knowledge of anything HVAC related) and everything was perfect!
Sadly (probably because my unit was so old) the hole got bigger by the end of the year and by the end of the season the unit stopped working and had a condensation issue. So I called CH&C again and not only was Matt able to get us someone the next day, Marcus came again which was great!!! He remembered everything and that "continuity of care" was awesome since he knew my unit, what happened before, and the area it was in. He took apart and assessed every little detail and it was determined the best option (and he gave us multiple options) would be that the unit needs to be replaced.
Their quote was SUPER reasonable and they were literally able to install for me same day and they were super quick! Matt and Marcus came out and they were both super professional, explained everything, did an amazing job! They put a really nice unit in my house and I've never had such good A/C performance in my unit!
I HIGHLY recommend this company for HVAC related needs! I will definitely will be calling them if I have other needs in the future! :)

My technician, Marcus, was incredible! He repaired by 20+ year old Oven door professionally and in a short amount of time. Marcus was able to come to my house in the same day and resolved the issue when at least 2 other Appliance Repair technician's could not figure out how to fix. Well done, and I will highly recommend to anyone and certainly use again in the future. - Nate
