Great experience. Matthew was incredibly courteous. Called and he was able to address same day. Had AC and refrigerator problems and he was able to quickly locate both issues and resolve. Also friendly and professional, pointed out exactly the issues and explained them to me in a way I could understand. Goes above and beyond. I don’t plan to use anyone else for any future repair needs, reliable and trustworthy.

Matthew was on time, explained my issues thoroughly, and give me pointers moving forward so that I could service the unit myself. Will use him going forward for all HVAC needs and will refer him to friends.

Edit : We moved into a new home 6 months ago and during the last cold spell our furnace went out. CH&C was able to quickly get out there to assess the situation, propose a solution and estimate, and fix the problem relatively quickly. They also services my AC unit for the summer while they were there. Great experiences all around!

Matthew is AWESOME! We have hired him to do work at our house and our rental property. He is very honest, always available to discuss best solutions and even concerned about unnecessary services/fees. We will continue to use him/Chicago Heating and Cooling because of his commitment to offer a superior quality of service without breaking the bank.

Matthew was timely, honest and efficient. As a new homeowner, I felt very grateful to have someone like Matthew come out and take the time to explain to me what was happening with my a/c unit and what the options available to me meant. He's great at what he does and I will definitely be using him the next time something comes up.

I've never worked with a company that blocks customers before getting the job done. Scheduled an appointment with Matthew but he sent his technician on the wrong day. My husband called several times to make sure that his technician was actually coming on the correct scheduled day, but they decided to block my husband's number. I emailed Matthew to reschedule the appointment, but he was insistent that we had scheduled it on the date I was not available even though if you read the email, it obviously states that I we agreed on a different day when I was available. So then he blocks my email & never responds again. Was finally able to schedule an appointment through my landlord & he tells her we were difficult to work with that's why we were blocked. I make it a point to always be respectful to others, but this company's & Matthew's behavior has made doing business with them extremely difficult.

UPDATE: Appointments are made, technician comes on the wrong day, owner Matthew gets angry because he gets the day wrong, owner learns to scroll up & read emails correctly before getting irritated & we move on.

I can't say enough good things about this company and it's owner, Matthew. He is responsive, knowledgeable, honest and pleasant to deal with every time. He has replaced our AC and provided guidance on replacing large appliances (when the other guy told us he could fix it for almost what it would cost to buy a new one). It's so comforting to have "a guy" I know I can trust when something goes wrong - and it always does!!

These guys are great. I have had terrible HVAC service in the past with others, but Matt was direct and helpful and looked at how to save me money on completely replacing two HVAC units and doing some repair to existing equipment. I recommend them highly.

I called Chicago Heating and Cooling 1 Corp for an annual heating system "check-up." They successfully repaired my very old boiler and baseboard radiator system in the past so I call them for all maintenance. A very nice man named Marcus came to the house. He arrived within minutes of the estimated ETA and had phoned me about 20 minutes in advance to let me know he was on his way. He completed his inspection and cleaned parts and then gave me a full explanation of what he did and what he saw. He also patiently answered all my questions. This is my go-to for heating issues because they do understand my very old baseboard radiator system and all the various sensors and associated plumbing. Highly recommend this company.

TL;DR- Look no further for your HVAC needs. Hands down the best company I've ever worked with for my home needs.

A couple years ago my wife and I were clueless and broke having just bought our first condo. We had also just learned an very important and expensive lesson - "Never go with the cheapest bidder just because it's cheap"

After getting burned by a less reputable company, and faced with a non functioning AC during August, we reached out to Matt at Chicago Heating and Cooling. Not only was Matt professional, prompt and honest but he went out of his way to explain each of our options and worked with us to find the best one based on our circumstances.

We've since worked with Chicago Heating & Cooling a number of times and will NEVER use anyone else because we know with Chicago Heating & Cooling we are going to get exceptional work at a reasonable price from a honest and hardworking company.

Matthew was professional, personable, and helpful in my experience with him. There were some issues that arose during the repair but he took full responsibility for the repair and ensured that we were satisfied with the end product. I would absolutely recommend Chicago Heating and Cooling in the future!
