Matt went above and beyond for us. What started as a routine "AC replacement" turned out to be a much bigger job that Matt did not shy away from. He spent more than 10 hours at our house and ensured everything was done correctly (often times needing to fix what had previously been done by the original builder). He worked tirelessly to make sure our AC was working properly and left everything cleaner than it originally was. He also beat other quotes we had gotten and got the job done ON THE SAME DAY! Truly a lifesaver and we will be calling on him for all our future AC and furnace needs

Super friendly, very nice and sociable. Came in and was able to diagnose and fix my system within the hour. Reasonable rates and solid service. I'm definitely going to call Matt for all my repair needs.

Matt and his team have worked on a number of projects for us including oven repair, HVAC and most recently replaced our AC Unit. Matt is responsive and quick to give guidance if he's not available. I definitely recommend his work.

We called because we thought we smelled gas near our furnace. The technician was super nice and courteous, however, charging $150 for a service call that took 10 minutes and resulted in no effort other than referring this to People's Gas seems extremely excessive. They say, "It's not about time" ... as in a job that takes an hour or 10 minutes still warrants the same charge?

Additionally, their technician told us that there's a gas leak coming from outside of our condo unit so we immediately had People's Gas come out. After much more thorough testing, People's Gas said there's absolutely no gas leak (and this assessment was completely free).

We called back to ask for a discount in the pricing and they did reduce the cost to $100. However when we told them that People's Gas said there was no gas leak, he claimed that his technician never told us there was a gas leak.

Morale of the story, if you think you smell gas... call People's Gas for free, save yourself the money.

Fast, quality service from local professionals. Not much more I could ask for. When our landlord didn't respond to multiple requests to fix my heat, they came within an hour of being called and were able to fix our HVAC system the next day.

Would gladly call them again! (But hopefully we won't have to.)

My furnace was not working and called Chicago Heating and Cooling 1 Corp. Matthew came and checked out the furnace and replaced the control board. He was very professionable and made sure everything was working before he left. After he left the furnace was not igniting agin. I called and he came back immediately! Fixed the problem. Matthew was so good and knowledgeable and his customer service was on point! These days it's had to find a good company that won't take you to the cleaners! I would highly recommend his company and have already given his card out to friends.

Matthew and Marcus performed a very complex repair to my AC line that took 2 days. They arrived in full protective gear: N95 carbon masks and nitrile gloves. They were on time, professional, courteous, and respectful of our property and possessions. Their estimate was clear and concise, and the price was competitive and, frankly, much less than I thought it would be. They also work on major appliances. If you are having an issue with your HVAC or a major appliance, you can't go wrong hiring Chicago Heating and Cooling 1 Corp. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and if I ever need their sevices again, I would call them in an instant.

AC was inoperable at my business. Had to call and schedule an appointment several times, on several different days, before somebody actually came out. After telling me the problem was because my filter was clogged, he promptly gave me an oversized bill and left. The NEXT DAY, the AC went out. After calling a competent professional, it turns out my AC head unit was failed.

Would not recommend this company.

Matt from Chicago Heating and Cooling is a tremendous resource. He replaced the furnaces for three rental properties I oversee, and did an excellent job. Fast, clean, reasonably priced, and completely professional. The work was done on time and on budget, without any concerns. Matt is a great resources as well for other building issues and provided solid advice.

I had a problem with the heater at a rental unit when I was out of town for the week. I called CH&C and they dispatched someone immediately. They were there and fixed the problem within 30 minutes. They had a reasonable fee and a painless invoice process. I will definitely use them again!
