Green Air Care

Fantastic experience to report with Green Air Care. I received multiple quotes to replace my 23-year-old water heater, and Green Air Care offered the best price on a high quality water heater . My installer, John, was professional and paid attention to the details. There was a small issue after the installation, in part, my fault, and John was responsive and helpful.

Green Air Care installed a new water heater today. Work was performed by Tony Edwards who was extremely personable and worked very quickly. Good job! We had been helped previously by Mario who diagnosed the problem with the old water heater and ordered parts for it. Before the parts could arrive our landlord decided to install a new water heater.

My water heater went out on New Years Day morning. within 3 hours of my calling Green Air Care the service tech was at my house with a new water heater and had it replaced, along with new accessories. He could not have been more professional or courteous, and I cannot believe how quickly and smoothly the whole process went. I could not recommend Green Air Care more highly.

They did a good install of a heatpump system for a large house that we will use for air conditioning. They came when they said they would and did what they said they would. They were tidy, put the vents where I asked. Actually did the work within two weeks of when we signed the contract. Very pleased.

My water heater started leaking I called Green Air Care they gave me a quote and was here the next day to install. Brandon was the technician, he was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. So glad I went with them. Thank you!!

This is the second time we have used Green Air Care and now, as then, the service has been amazing. They come when they say they will and are exceedingly professional and quick in everything they do from initial survey to invoicing to the work itself. The team is fast, friendly and polite, and their work is outstanding. If you need air conditioning, I can't recommend them highly enough!

I called Water Heaters on a Friday morning hoping someone could come out late afternoon. They told me someone would be there between 4-6 and promptly at 4:05PM, Tulga showed up. By 4:15 he was installing my upgraded to 50 gallon brand new heater and was all cleaned up and finished by 6:20. He even corrected a potentially dangerous condition with my old pressure valve by installing beautifully plumbed copper piping all the way to my laundry sink, Good price and exceptional work. I will use them again!

Stay away from this company. Their ad shows a Carrier AC and furnace regular price of $5850 on sale for $2385. There were no disclaimers or any limits in the ad. We had a rep out and he gave us a price of $5656 for a 2 ton unit and furnace plus a $650 crane charge for a total of $6306. When we showed the rep the ad he got noticeably upset but couldn’t do anything about the price. When we talked afterwards with the sales manager Alex he was rude and unapologetic and would not move one dollar off the quote. This ad is very deceptive and I would never recommend using this untrustworthy company

Steve B was on time, very professional and friendly. He kept me informed on when the new water heater was to b delivered. Was able to installed the new water heater quickly, so only without water for a short period of time.

**CAUTION - GREEN AIR CARE TAKES ADVANTAGE OF ELDERLY PEOPLE** My elderly parents called Green Air Care in Buffalo Grove, IL only because they saw a coupon of $189 in the ValPak in order to clean out their air ducts due to a problem with a smell. The worker came out, inspected the situation with the ducts, said he needed to check the furnace, banged on the furnace multiple times, and said it was going to cost more than $189. The worker did NOT mention that there was a furnace issue when he assessed the situation only that the duct job was more than what was thought. My parents were quoted a price that was 5x's more than the price of $189 from the ValPak coupon! The worker said they would need to come back to address the issue and charged my parents for the consultation. Once the worker left, the furnace no longer worked. Mind you there were no issues with the furnace heating prior to this visit and was not the reason for the initial call. My mom called the company back to explain that they NOW had an issue with the furnace not heating after Green Air Care's visit. The company advised that they had nothing to do with the furnace not working and after my parents pleaded to have someone come out and look at the furnace they agreed to send someone out. Apparently after the initial visit of NO report of a furnace issue the worker advised there was now an "oil issue" with the furnace. When my parents asked to speak with a manager and advised him they had no furnace issues before the visit and only called for duct issues. The manager got defensive and told them that it was not his fault that my parents did not know how to work a thermostat and that basically it was my parents problem. They were also advised that since Green Air Care had to come back out, my parents would be charged again and if they did not pay were threatened with being sent to collections. Mind you neither situation was fixed. From reading reviews this is not the first time this company has taken advantage of elderly people. Do NOT call this company even if you see the coupon in your ValPak, Groupon, or Angie's List recommendation. I will be posting this review on Facebook, Instagram, n49, Home Advisor, trustpilot, thumbtack, birdeye, revdex, BBB, and any other sites I find. This is not right to be treating elderly people like this. Rude, Condescending, Wasted money, Bad business.
