Mr. Duct

My daughter completed a request for duct cleaning service from Mr. Duct and I received a call within minutes after she completed the on-line request. Then they were able to provide my duct cleaning service the same day!

The technicians were very professional and willing to explain the process they used to clean my air ducts. Video of the cleaned ducts was provided.

We have a Labrador Retriever in the house that sheds. My daughter is allergic and she seemed to think she was breathing better immediately after the service was performed.

I'm very satisfied with the timeliness of Mr. Duct's response, the way the service was performed, and the price. I will not hesitate to call them back for another cleaning, when needed.

Since I can only give whole stars, I have to give a 5 (my review should really be 4.5, but I'm rounding up because of the professionalism of the two technicians who did the work). Some of the best money I've spent moving into his house. Anyone who lives into an old home, especially one that was renovated by a flipper who didn't really take care of the infrastructure, is a must.

The two techs who came out were very professional, thorough, and incredibly respectful of my home. The before / after pictures are striking. And some of that old house smell is now gone!

I took off a half star because 1) they didn't warn me that they'd be starting up what sounded like a jet engine powered vacuum machine thing. Had I known that I'd be creating this much loud noise on a Saturday morning, I would scheduled a later appointment. I didn't have a chance to warn my neighbors. And 2) I was never told about the drilling into the duct work. I'm skeptical that the holes that were drilled into the duct work will hold up with those flimsy plugs. But it seems to be okay.

I highly, highly recommend that most people do this. Makes quite a difference. I recommend Mr Duct of Barrington.

Whole process start to finish was very enjoyable. Had my dryer vent hose replaced and duct cleaned. Everything works perfect now. The techs were very friendly and happy to answer my questions. Highly recommend.

Ben and Jake were knowledgeable and explained everything necessary for me and my husband to make decisions accordingly. I appreciated the breakdown of all they were scheduled to do and even explain when they couldn't complete the task (through no fault of their own). After they left, the pilot light actually went out and Ben came back to endure it was turned out properly and heated again. It was very much appreciated!

We called to have our dryer vent cleaned at 10am and Mr. Duct was there by 11:30am and our vent was properly cleaned by 12:15pm. The technicians were polite, professional, knowledgeable,and cleaned up any mess. Thus, our dryer was working like it just came out of the showroom. Mr. Duct has been servicing my business for the last three years & they have always done a great job, awesome follow up after they are done. The service techs are always in uniform and are true professionals . Great Job !

Not all that impressed with their dispatch and customer service. When I first called in to schedule an appointment, they told me they can come out July 5th between 1-3. I received an email shortly after asking to confirm my appointment for July 15th. So I had to call back in to get the appointment date corrected to July 5th. They completely missed the 1-3 appointment on July 5th. I had to call them at 4:15 to ask where my tech was. They said the earliest he would be there would be after 6. So I rescheduled with them for a Saturday appointment from 10-12. This time they actually called me with 4 minutes left in the timeframe to notify me that my tech will be at least 40 minutes late for my 2nd appointment. After all was said and done, they still charged me the full amount. No sort of discount or future credit applied toward my account. Even after missing 2 appointment windows and making me wait around.

When the tech (AJ) finally arrived he did seem knowledgeable and friendly. He was just there for an AC check and clean for my home that I had just bought.

The only reason I had even chose Mr. Duct was their perfect 5.0 review on Google out of 43 reviews at the time. So I figured that many people couldn't be wrong. Maybe I was the only one to have a bad experience? I wont be sticking with them to find out

Extremely satisfied with the service provided (air duct cleaning). AJ and Julio arrived on time and were very professional. They explained everything they were doing at all times. Pricing was very competitive. Definitely recommend without reservation and will be using again in the future when the time comes.

Juan and team arrived on time, were exceptionally polite and efficient, explained the process, went to work and got it don. Major difference in our heating air flow...we have a two story townhome with a single furnace. Would highly recommend. Chuck and Lois Fox
