When I did business with your firm in November 2022 I was extremely pleased with your services and would definitely use and recommend your company. However, today when I desperately needed services I was told that you no longer serviced my address (?@!). Is this rezoning/restructuring in terms of servicing area racially motivated? (a rhetorical question, but food for thought).
Replaced hot water heater with new venting system, under warranty and at no cost due to a code issue. The plumbing team was very professional and efficient.
Consumers don’t create reviews, companies do that. We just document them. So, mine goes like this. I had Perfect Home Services come out to look at my boiler when it acted up. After a $3300 repair bill, the exact same problem happened about a week later. The next guy that came out found oversights the previous technician missed. I was given the option of repairing my boiler (it was old) or replacing it. I opted to replace it. They started off working without a permit from the city. Things just went downhill from there. The boiler would not keep up after running for days. Next tech visit resulted in him saying the installation wasn’t done correctly and to fix it he had to drain the boiler then refill it and bleed air out of the system. The air bleeding process ended up having valves opened that should not have been (they were off to begin with) and that resulted in it “raining” in my period restored dining room as well as my bedroom. To dry the ceiling, roaring fans and dehumidifiers were installed by a remediation company for nearly a week the week before Christmas. Throughout the process, I had to constantly ask what was going on to put my house back in order. I highly suspect I needed to replace my boiler to begin with. They talk a good talk like they're your longtime friend until you sign the papers and then it's like, "Who are you?" I signed up for annual maintenance and when it came time to look at my air conditioning I told them, no thanks. I feared I would be looking at another botched replacement of a system that is fine. I would highly suggest they change their name as "Perfect Home Services" does not accurately describe what you get in the end. And there was never any discussion about compensating me for the inconvenience of camping out in my living room because of the jet engine noise from the fans and dehumidifiers placed to dry out the space above the ceilings and my home being in disarray – the week before Christmas. Their insurance company did send me a check for the repairs which I will thankfully manage on my own. Be wary, very wary of this company.
Perfect Home Services may not be inexpensive. Home repairs rarely are. But, their service is professional, timely and I've only asked they return to make an adjustment ONE time out of a dozen or more over the years. This week, I had a plumbing repair I wasn't about to address myself and their technician (Brent, if I recall correctly) was exceptionally pleasant and has resolved the leaking issue, including a new pipe and couple of valves where necessary.
I was very impress with specialist, Jeff Aleman. He was prompt, equipped with proper service tools, excellent knowledge of HVAC, consciencious and didn’t rush to the next job unless you understood every aspect of work performed or any deficiencies in your system that may be a problem in the future. Originally I requested a quote for a new AC and furnace and instead he didn’t push the sale but repaired the problem instead.
Ended up getting my furnace and AC removed and replaced by Perfect. I'll say this, you need to negotiate with them, do not accept the first offer they throw at you. The first quote they gave me was $2,500 more than where we ended up. So there is a TON of wiggle room in their pricing. All of the techs that came to my house were great, they were friendly and knowledgeable. Things have not exactly gone perfectly though. After the job was done, I found 10 sharp sheet metal screws all over my driveway. I had to scan my driveway with a flood light to ensure I wouldn't end up with a punctured tire. Paying $11,500 for the job to be done, I would expect them to do a better job cleaning up after themselves. I could very easily have wound up with punctured tires. The new thermostat was supposed to come with 2 sensors but they were not included. Communication was great before I paid for the service. Now that I need an invoice and I'm trying to get the sensors, I'm not getting a response to my emails or texts.
My experience with both professionals was delightful. They were knowledgeable, polite and completed the work in a timely manner. Great work! Everything was neatly assembled.
This repair was complicated. Both of us has valid concerns. We both needed to meet each other in the middle and we did. Both of us felt the outcome was fair. His work was very good.
Smith came out yesterday to check our A/C unit. He was a very honest and very nice gentleman. News about our A/C unit and Heater was not very good, however, but we knew we would receive bad news - our system is 16 years old. Hoping, if the price is right, we will be using Perfect Home Services in the future and Smith will be out here again.
