Justin arrived just when expected, having called first to say he was
on his way. He was very thorough in his check up of our furnace
and explained everything as he was doing it. He also
adjusted our thermostat as requested, and put back on our
roof vent cap that had blown ajar in high winds. Overall, he was
very helpful in educating us about our furnace and very easy
to relate to. Super service!

I want to let you know that the serviceman (Delta Mathie) did a great job. He diagnosed the problem right away and explained very clearly what was needed to fix the problem. The company was a bit expensive but the furnace is again working as it should so I am grateful.

Trademark Mechanical rapidly worked us into their schedule after our very old hot water heater had failed. The guys were quite knowledgeable and were willing to answer all of my questions about the new style unit. The work was excellent and quickly done. They also did a good cleanup when they were finished.

Stephen Washburn is a very personable and professional service person. He excellent customer relations skills and excellent technical skills. Stephen's diagnoses was very thorough.

I was informed of his arrival time by both the office and Stephen, he arrived within 3 minutes of the scheduled time.

Sincerely,

As of 6/28/21, Stephen Washburn has completed the repair of our system.
Stephen not only found and fixed the obvious problem but diagnosed and resolved the underlying causes of the failure.

As someone who was in the technical service business for over 30 years, I have great respect and admiration for Stephen's technical skills. Stephen also has excellent customer relations ability. I am more than happy with the service I have received.

I set up an appointment with Trademark Mechanical to check the mini-split system in our home. One of the air handlers wasn't working properly. Their technician, Jasper, showed up on time and diagnosed the problem. It took a little while because ours is a slightly older system, but he spoke with technical support for the unit and diagnosed that the control board was beginning to fail. The part was in stock and he ordered it the next day. It arrived a few days later and he installed the new part and checked the system to make sure it was working properly. Throughout this process, he was very courteous and professional, and showed up when he said he would be there and completed the work in the time frame that he estimated - even though we were out of town at the time! I'd highly recommend Jasper and Trademark Mechanical for HVAC repair work.

As a first time customer, I was pleased with the communication protocols executed by technician Kerbs. Moreover, his obvious skill and determination to do a professional complete job in inspection and preventive maintenance met high standards. I am completely satisfied and recommend him and Trademark without reservation.

This place is the best! We got to our Airbnb and our AC wasn’t working in the middle of the heat wave in northern Idaho and Ivan was there within 90 minutes to fix our AC! He was fast and nice and we didn’t have any other issues with the AC the whole week! He was an awesome guy and we absolutely recommend trademark and Ivan!

My home is a “Northwest Energy Codes” specified and built house where I designed in extra amounts of insulation. It cooks in summer heat waves like that of 2021 so we had Trademark bid on adding air conditioning. Within two weeks of having Joe make an estimation, the twenty-eight year old furnace (which had been sounding very ruff on start-up) quit working — and we upped the project to a full Mitsubishi heat-pump and air unit to utilize our existing floor duct system.

Trademark guys swoop in within a couple of minutes of their scheduled time of arrival in these jazzy painted trucks, make cordial introductions (Jacob and Steve) and hit it hard for six hours. Out goes the old stuff — in comes the new furnace, up goes the air unit, Jacob informs us there’s a pad coming on another truck and somewhere in there an electrician came and installed very clean runs of conduit into our electric panel and left. When I walked to the north side of the house, sitting neatly on (what appeared to be a cement pad, but was a composite material) was a stack of two very hi-tech looking fans with an open electrical panel on the side that looked like something off a space ship — so much for understanding what we bought. Jacob closed the panel door and turned the whole thing on — fans whirled into action, the blower blew and a few minutes later the ducts poured out very clean feeling warm air.

Jacob informed my wife and I that the “Heat Strips” (used to preheat the air while the heat-pump warms up) were out in a container off the coast of LA (my joke) would be installed later in the month. He ran us through a verbal explanation of how the wi-fi connected control panel works which of course is like when someone of a younger generation quickly explains how to use a new App on your unfamiliar cell phone without having you duplicate any of the moves or describing why you would want this or that option. The guys are on tight schedules, do a great job of installing, cleaning up and making HVAC stuff work very well.

My only concern was the fresh-air system originally installed could not go through the interior of the Mitsubishi system but had to become a passive air flow system with the whole-house fan in the bathroom creating enough depressurization to make the air exchange flow. I have stepped up the exhaust fan time schedule to accommodate periods of cooking, and using the wood stove in the evenings when we have the new system turned off until morning (winter only). So far cooking orders seem to leave quickly. I’ve installed an air testing unit which indicated higher volumes of VOCs and CO2 during wood stove burning which is to be expected — so the bath fan is on a lot in the evening.
A unexpected finding was how much Radon the tester indicated, which is a whole other matter.

Because of my concentration on all of the above material Trademark sent out their lead Sandpoint engineer (Andy) to go through the whole system with me and listen to my evaluation (as you have if you got this far) and answer any remaing questions. I am very satisfied with the heating product, (summer still to come for cooling) the installation, service, customer satisfaction concerns and professional workmanship and conduct of every phase we experienced with Trademark. I recommend them without reservation.
