Peppy Heating and Cooling

We had Shanco install new heating and air system last June 2020. They did quality work putting in a great HVAC system. We’d gotten other bids and theirs was the best. We just had the air conditioning one year service done and the young man that came out was very thorough. He even cleaned out the winter debris from the unit outside and tested the air flow in the house. Past company on our old system didn’t do that. We highly recommend Shanco!

We hired SHANCO to install a new furnace and new AC unit. We selected SHANCO over the other companies we sought bids from for a few reasons.

1. Brett was more than willing to provide us with numerous options that allowed us to pick what was best. When it was all said and done he provided us with at least five options where all other competitors only provided us with two even after we told them directly that we wanted options on units. The options we were given ranged from competitive with other vendors to top of the line units.

2. We wanted an AC unit that could fit on the side of our house without encroaching on our path way. SHANCO was one of two companies that even provided us with a side discharge AC unit as an option.

3. We have an older house that had a little bit of awkwardness with the routing of the duct work. The crew at SHANCO was able to keep our furnace in the same spot (even including the addition of the evaporator coil) with hooked up to our existing duct/vent system. We had other bids that would have required us to move the furnace location.

I cannot recommend SHANCO enough. The fact that Brett was willing to work with us, gave us options to choose from, and the professionalism of both him and his crew are enough to put him over the top.

After getting quotes from 4 different companies I selected SHANCO to replaced my 25 year old furnace and AC as well as the two main flexible drops that had been flooded when my AC drain line clogged. Brett's quote was very competitive regarding price, but that's not the only reason SHANCO was selected. I do believe Brett and his team take great pride in their company and will everything in their power to ensure customer satisfaction. They are knowledgeable, professional, and I am glad I chose to do business with them!

The crew from Shanco was absolutely awesome. Timely, professional, and thorough. They provided a competitive price. I especially appreciated the ongoing communication during the time I was getting multiple estimates, during the project, and the follow up after. Brett, Cody, Rob, and Moses were all great to work with.

Our heat stopped working one evening and I called Shanco to see if there was something easy I could do to fix it. I got through to their on call technician who spent a long time on the phone with me troubleshooting why it might not be working, trying a few things to see if it solved the problem.

Nothing worked but he was able to schedule an appointment for a technician to come out the next morning. I was so impressed by his kind demeanor, generosity with his time and genuine desire to help me fix the problem.

The next day, Cody texted me 20 minutes before our appointment to let me know he was on his way and showed up on time!! Very pleased as repairmen can be like doctors - "we give an appointment time but show up within a two hours window - you just wait there missing work like your time isn't valuable, we call the shots around here" :-p

Anyway, Cody was super kind, conscientious and explained everything to me, and most importantly, fixed the problem. Oh yes, when he came into the house to deal with the thermostat, he covered his boots with booties which I SO appreciate - just another small but significant sign that people are thinking about the customer amd joy just the end goal of getting paid. Also, he didn't have the part needed in his van but he went to the magic HVAC parts store and picked one up and came back to finish the job right away - I've had people tell me before they had to come back the next day before, glad that wasn't the case.
Their maintenance program is a great deal - $14/month or $168 annually for heating and cooling maintenance, priority scheduling, 15% of repairs, and $100 off cost of replacement systems for each year of subscription.
Genuinely great service, highly recommend!

I had a problem with water down a heating/air duct. Shanco came out that day. They were able to replace the duct in the same day. Very professional and responsive.

The technician was awesome, he quickly identified the problem, showed me what it was , and fixed it in a cost effective manner. He did not try to upsell me in any way. I was VERY happy with the service I received.

I've worked with a few local HVAC companies for personal homes, and SHANCO is my top choice. Cody and all their staff that I have interacted with are friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and professional. Their pricing is highly competitive in the valley, and their regular maintenance plan is absolutely worth the cost. With some HVAC companies I would feel compelled to get a second quote or perform due diligence on their assessments, but with SHANCO there is trust in their costs and service assessments; and that's what will keep me loyal to them. Excellent experience from start to finish! My only regret is not finding them sooner!

We had a problem with the heater this past Spring which was promptly repaired. We recommended them to my family which needed a new system. They were also very satisfied. Great company!
