Moncrief Heating & Air Conditioning

Moncrief was an excellent company from start to finish of our new system install. We had our a/c unit, furnace, and water heater replaced, and they offered the best price and payment option than any of the other companies that gave us a quote. They came out quickly to the house so we didn’t have to continue sweltering in the brutal July heat. Ken, the engineer that came out, was professional, personable, and recommended quality products without trying to up-sell us on products we didn’t need. The technicians were also friendly and professional and got the job done perfectly in one day. I would highly recommend Moncrief to anyone in or around Atlanta looking for any heating/cooling work.

Charged $470 to hack a temporary solution to my HVAC issue, and then said that it was an issue with the thermostat and it'd be another $470 for them to come a later time to fix it. However, they didn't even bother to reset the thermostat or do any deduction as to what the issue was with it (or if that was even the root cause of the problem they came out for). Then when they explained the issue they misspoke multiple times about the causes and had to double back to correct the original things they said. Paying two guys each $135 to come not fix HVAC + a $200 visit charge and then tell me the wrong thing is absolutely insane and I will never work with this company ever again. I don't think I've ever felt so ripped off.

Lionel was very professional. He came today for HVAC/thermostat check and maintenance. Appreciated the ability to track his time eta and phone call from office he was on his way. Highly recommend Moncrief. Will be using them in the future.

I was very pleased with my experience with Moncrief. I received confirmation of my appointment the day before and a text 30 minutes before the technician, Robby, arrived. Robby did a great job, and left the area very neat after he completed the work. I would not hesitate to call Moncrief in the future.

I called yesterday evening and Barry from Moncrief came out this morning and helped to clean and repair our Mitsubishi Mini-Split units. Aside from being kind, prompt and professional, he also showed me some maintenance techniques for the units that I will be able to use to keep my units clean, our family’s air cleaner, and may help me save some money in repairs in the future. Service was somewhat pricey, but the knowledge and peace of mind that I now have are more than worth it!
