Steven Bates of Bates Air conditioning handled my call. He was quick to respond and diagnose my issue. Unfortunately I had needed a part that would normally be handled under warranty and I had some issues with the manufacturer. Steven guided me through getting the process of getting my issue resolved and jumped through hoops to get me the part and installed in a very quick fashion. Cannot say enough good about him and his employees. I would not hesitate to give them a call when your next issues comes about. I would highly recommend and encourage their use!!

This was my second scheduled maintenance visit and I am just as pleased with the service as I was with the first one. Brad is knowledgeable, helpful and works thoroughly and efficiently. As a new resident who never had a system like this, he patiently, and honestly, answers all my questions, so I understand. Because of this, I trust them with my system, and that says a lot. I recommend them highly to my new friends here and anyone who needs a reliable, reasonably priced a/c company.

Bates came highly recommended when I was looking for a new AC installation. As soon as they showed up I knew there would be no need to call any other companies. They were prompt, professional, knowledgeable, honest, and personable. The product and installation went beyond my expectations for the performance and savings I have received since the install.

These guys should be at the top of your list for HVAC. They weren’t trying to sell me something I didn’t need. They weren’t trying to push something on me I didn’t want. They provided me with many options within various budget ranges. They use good products that have good warranties. When I dealt with each member at Bates, I felt like they were taking care of me and my needs like I was one of their own family members.

John, the technician, texted me to say he was heading over. He came within the the time frame window for my air conditioning unit maintenance. John was courteous and professional and completely checked out all aspects of my air conditioning unit.

For those looking for a reliable, honest and cost efficient AC company look no further. I had a 6 year old 4 ton 13 SEER AC system that needed to be replaced due to continuous coil leaks. I called a total of 7 companies to come out and provide me with an assessment and pricing on removal of an old unit and purchase and install of a new unit. Each company that came out did the exact same thing, assessed the existing unit and measured for a new unit. Where Bates stood out was Steven was the only one out of the 6 other companies that actually went up into my attic (air handler is in the attic) and crawled around to provide additional feedback. He found that the main air duct was actually pulling away from the air handler so my AC was cooling the attic more than the house. He also pointed out that the main duct itself was smaller than what should have been in place for a unit of the size mine is. He provided me with pictures of these issues in addition to me going up in the attic myself and taking a look. This made the difference to me because while the other companies were responsive, they did not go the extra mile to do a complete assessment of the issues. Had I gone with another company and they simply replaced my AC, the new AC would still not be working as efficiently because of these other issues not being addressed. Everyone I worked with at Bates including Steve, Miranda, Brad and TJ were all incredibly helpful, answered all of my questions and were detailed in their information provided. I am grateful to them and am happy to have found them. Hands down, the best AC company out there!

I called with a leak they fit me in quickly, found the problem repaired it, reasonable. That being said he was so nice and professional it was a pleasure doing business plus he is going to fix a problem I thought I had to live with. Thank You, Bates!

Definitely got my moneys worth for the cleaning. They did not try to bait and switch me like Stanley Steemer did.
