I was referred by a neighbor to Bates Air and Heat in an air conditioning crisis. My frantic call was met by a lovely lady on the phone who assisted me and with amazing customer service. Same day service within 2 hours and problem resolved.
What stands out is the absolute honesty by Bates. I was invited to see his work performed and what was the problem with my unit.
I was in need of a new air conditioning system and I knew that beforehand. Navigating all the options and prices was broken down and simplified for me with patience and then I was walked thru the decision making process with ease.
I rated this company at 5 stars because in this changed world customer service has declined so poorly but not with Bates. Their service reminded me of a day gone by where customers were reassured and not disregarded. Small family owned business with sincere and genuine respect for a service performed professionally.

I called three companies to review my hvac system. I had a specific need. The owner himself showed up and was the only one of the 3 companies to go in the attic and assess exactly what I needed. He gave me great insight and a clear plan. They were not the cheapest. Then the guys showed up soon thereafter and completed the job fantastically. I highly recommend them.

Bates Air and Heat is our go-to A/C service and repair company and highly recommended. They schedule you promptly without undue delay and will, if need be, drop what they're doing to promptly and speedily respond to any emergency repair you may need. Their rates are reasonable and their servicemen are very professional. Don't hesitate to call Bates anytime of day or night.

Bates installed a new HVAC in my condo 6 months ago. Came back today for follow up maintenance. Very happy with them, excellent and responsive service and great work.

We had a very good experience with Bates each time we have used them! The most recent repair was completed by the owner who took his time to explain everything he was doing and what we could do easily to help prevent a similar issue in the future. He also gave recommendations on additional steps we could take but was not pushy at all and completely upfront with pricing. Would recommend to anyone in the Vero Beach area!

From the start w the booking, we received accurate clear information on date, time and who to expect. A reminder was sent 24hr prior to visit and an hour before another heads up. The tech was courteous and knowledgeable. The office personnel was very responsive and provided great options. We highly recommend Bates Air and Heating service.

Called one of the big guys around here first and decided to get a second quote from Bates per a recommendation of a friend. Glad I did as these guys came out immediately, provided a better quote, and were all around just a great team to work with. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.
